All cruises in Halong Bay must have permission from Management Board of Halong Bay to stay overnight in the Bay. Based on the weather conditions (high winds, monsoon, thunderstorm, cyclone, storm...), the Management Board has the authority to cancel all cruises on certain day to guarantee the safety of tourists.
In those cases, following policies will be applied:
- If the cancellation is informed before you leave Hanoi to Halong Bay (you have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the cancellation is informed during the trip (you have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong,...): Only the fee of these services will be charged and we will refund whole remain amount
- If the trip is cut down from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night, we will charge as 2 days/1 night trip, plus other services you have already used and refund the remain amount.
- The cancellation is announced ONLY by the Management Board of Halong Bay and often in short notice of time. Therefore your understandings in these situations are highly appreciated
- The period from May to July is considered as storm weather in Halong Bay with many unpredictable weather conditions. Hence more cruises will be cancelled with short notice during this season.

When we receive your email requesting cancellation, we will cancel your booking. Then we will confirm your cancellation through the email. Your cancellation is only confirmed when you get a confirmation of cancellation from us.
All credit card refunds will be processed in timely manner. The refund processing depends on your billing cycle with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our office, it can take from 15-45 working days for the refunds to arrive in your account. Please note that the refunds will be made in the form of a credit to your card account.
If you want to cancel a booking, please send a cancellation request by email or a fax to us. We do not accept any cancellation by phone. Please read carefully the cancellation policy in each program in the Check Rates tab. We note clearly about the timing of cancellation and how much will be charged for the cancellation there. Notice: we ONLY accept cancellation in writing by email or fax, NOT by phone.
After we confirm the refund for you, we will send you our transaction proof which said that we did tranfser refund for you.
When money goes back to your account depends on your bank. You can see the refer below:
"According to the regulation of International Card Association (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx and JCB), the maximum time required that cardholder receive the credit (increase in credit limit for credit card or increase in account balance for debit card) is 30 days since the date of refund (depend on the Issuing bank's process).
Normally, the amount will be back to your account around 7 – 10 working days. Please contact issuing bank to check this refund (by the telephone number on the back side of your card)."
