Red Dragon Junk - Authentic Charm

Red Dragon Junk , a member of Indochina Junk Group, is a 3.5* wooden boat built in 2008. The cruise was designed and name after an authentic Chinese boat in 18th century which plied rivers, seas and harbors of the Far East, from Singapore to northern China. It took 4 years to complete the cruise construction. It's all dark wood and brass with decorative flourishes, and it doesn't take a lot of imagination to picture pirates swinging from the sails.

There are five rooms on the boat, all with en-suite bathrooms with hot-water showers (and a porthole looking out to sea) and a window onto the ocean from the bedroom. Red Dragon Junk is a great choice for small group with about less than 11 people. With all this on offer, as well as an extraordinarily exciting cruise itinerary and some of the most beautiful scenery you'll ever see, you may well feel as if the Red Dragon Junk experience is something of a dream. Why don't you come and join with us now to enjoy your unforgettable vacation?

The ship was lovely, the food delicious and the other guests were enjoyable to be with. The bus ride showed us parts of Vietnam we would not have gotten to see. The water puppets were just a delightful.surprise.

Would have like to have chairs outside to have a drink before our meals

An excellent trip on a well appointed boat with excellent staff (incl. tour guide) and very good food. The cruise route in Bai Tu Long Bay was more off the beaten path and this contributed greatly to the trip as there were no crowds and the ocean was fairly clean of debris. The scenery was outstanding… More

The Red Dragon Cruise with Indochina was fantastic! The boat was beautiful and the crew and staff were great. The food was amazing and so fresh...had a 7 course dinner. The water, tea and coffee was included which it isn't on all the Junks and this made a difference. The trip was perfect and we fitted… More

Pretty much none! Maybe that you can't by wine by the glass, but we shared a bottle with another couple.

We both enjoyed our trip on board the Red Dragon junk cruise. The weather was fine the crew and Captain plus Anh the guide was great could not of been any better. The Red Dragon junk looked and felt alot better than the Dragon Pearl as it did not feel crowded and the crew was very good to the passengers.

it's excellent trip

but pick up service from halong bay was not very effective. We come off the boat too early and sat waiting for our bus for one and a half hours.
