Best Price Travel had great reviews and so we thought we would give them a go. I have to say they exceeded expectations at every step of our journey. Every tour guide, every trip, every pick up was perfectly organized and meant we could spend our time relaxed and enjoying everything these 2 amazing countries have to offer.
From the beautiful scenery of Halong Bay, to the bustling streets of Hanoi, to the fascinating history and culture of Hoi An, and finally to the magical Angkor Wat Complex in Siem Reap, this trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The trip began with a visit to Hanoi, where we were able to explore the city's vibrant culture and history. We then set sail on a Halong Bay cruise, where we were able to take in the stunning limestone karsts and islands that make up this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The following day brought us back to Hanoi for a full day of sightseeing and shopping.
Next, we set off for Danang and Hoi An, where we had the opportunity to take an eco tour of the area and learn about its rich history. We then continued our journey south to Ho Chi Minh City, where we had the chance to explore the Mekong Delta. After that, we headed northwest to Phnom Penh for a full day city tour before making our way to Siem Reap.
Finally, we arrived in Siem Reap, where we had the opportunity to experience Angkor Wat Complex in all its glory. We also visited Banteay Srei and Tonle Sap Lake, two incredible sites that provided us with an unforgettable experience.
I have to send my appreciation to our travel agent, Ms. Rosie, was awesome. She was available throughout our holiday. She came to meet us in Hanoi and made us feel so welcome and looked after.
