Afternoon

- Upon arriving at the airport, our tour guide will greet you and drive you to the booked hotel in Hanoi

- Free at leisure for the rest of the day

Morning

- Have breakfast at your hotel

- Meet the tour guide at the hotel lobby and drive to your first destination of the day

- Start your trip by visiting Hanoi Hilton - Hoa Lo prison where American POWs were kept

- Then head to Huu Tiep Lake to see part of the wreckage of a downed B52 bomber still sitting in the water

- Afterwards, drive to Thang Long Royal Citadel and visit the underground command bunker in the compound

- Have lunch at a local restaurant and take a short rest

- Finish the trip by passing by the extensive Army Museum

NOTE: The site is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

- 4:00 pm: Get back to your hotel and you are free for the night

- 08:00: Be picked up in Hanoi, transferred to Bai Dinh complex

- Depart Hue for the rural A Luoi District on the Laotian border

Discover A Luoi District

- Enjoy the fantastic mountain scenery along the way

- Upon arrival at A Luoi, meet up with your local guide

- Continue driving to the 937 meters (3,074 feet) high Ap Bia Mountain

- Learn the untold stories about an infamous battle here in 1969

- From the top of the hill, enjoy a panoramic view of the airport and the combat base

- Drive back to visit the site of the Battle of A Shau, for which Bennie G. Adkins was awarded a Medal of Honor by President Barack Obama in 2014.

- Then head to A Roang Village for lunch with a Ta Oi ethnic family, one of the minority groups in Vietnam.

Afternoon

- Listen to stories of how the villagers served during the war but now live on handicraft making

- Take a short walk to a nearby rice field where you can observe a demonstration of agricultural activities, as well as cloth and rattan weaving

- Then relax in a hot spring before transferring back to Hue in the late afternoon

- Back at your hotel and you are free at night

- Have breakfast served in your hotel

- Get on the car with your tour guide and head to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)

- Visit sites of military significance such as the former American military base of Khe Sanh, Lang Vei Special Forces Camp, Hien Luong Bridge at the 17th Parallel, the Ho Chi Minh Trail,  the Rockpile, Dakrong suspension bridge, and more

- Have lunch amid the way

- Visit the old citadel of Quang Tri, the site of a bloody battle during the Easter Offensive in 1972

- Stop at the Vinh Moc Tunnels, where a village was constructed underground to avoid bombing

- Drive back To Hue to stay overnight

- Have breakfast and prepare your luggage

- Get on a car to transfer from Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass (The Cloud Ocean Pass)

- You and stop on the way to take pictures on one of the highest points of Vietnam where clouds are seemed to be at hand

- Have lunch before continue

- Once arrived in Hoi An, get to your hotel and do the check-in procedures

- The nighttime is free for you to explore the colorful stores around the town

- Have breakfast at school

- 7:30 - 8:30: Pick up at your hotel (on request)

- Cross the Cua Dai bridge and enjoy the spectacular views over the Hoi An river system and Cham Islands

- Arrive at My Son Sanctuary, the ancient architecture protected by UNESCO

- Follow a traditional dance performance and walk to the Cham with a short ascent along a jungle-bordered track

- Hear about the history of the religious site which served as a burial place for the Cham monarchs centuries ago

Afternoon

- Drive back to your hotel 

- Either take a nap or continue your journey in Hoi An by discovering its signature street food

- You can ask your guide for some recommendations

- 07:00: Pick-up at the customers’ hotel and transfer to our pier

- Departure to Cu Chi by boat

- Arrive in Cu Chi and begin to discover Cu Chi Tunnels

- Crawl into the tunnels and enjoy the special and interesting feeling

- Enjoy the relaxing time, drinking green tea while tasting tapioca

- Finish tunnels, then have lunch at the local riverside restaurant

- Start to head off to Saigon by van to go to some local places

- Visit the cricket farm to taste the unusual local specialty and a local rice papers-making house, and visit the organic vegetable farm

- Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

- Spend your spare time in the city

- Have breakfast at the hotel

- Start with visiting The Reunification Palace, which used to be the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam

- See Notre Dame Cathedral and the Saigon Central Post Office, two of the most famous and oldest examples of classical French colonial architecture established over a century ago

- Pay a visit to the Jade Emperor Pagoda, an old Chinese temple with vibrant decorative themes

- Go to a local market where you may find everything from shoes to lovely silk Ao Dai

- Back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city

- You will have the time in the afternoon and evening for yourself to experience the city atmosphere at night
