Halong Bay Classic Route Cruises

Halong Bay is broadly divided into three cruising areas: the Classic Route, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay. Each offers a different balance of iconic sights, crowd levels, and scenery.

You can choose from a wide range of cruises, from boutique and junk boats to private, budget-friendly, and luxury options. The route also features many modern, newly launched vessels, with both day cruises and overnight journeys available.

Our top picks are selected based on guest reviews, our cruise inspections, ship quality, itinerary, and overall value for money. Here are five standout options on the classic route.
