We had an amazing time on our Vietnam/ Cambodia Trip, Janet was absolutely amazing! She booked the best tours for us and we can’t wait to go back, I will absolutely be calling Janet!!
Vimos todas las principales atracciones y lugares históricos. El conductor fue amable, paciente y recorrió muy bien nuestra ruta, parando para descansar cuando era necesario. Nuestros guías estaban muy bien informados, los hoteles eran limpios y hospitalarios. La cocina local estaba recién hecha y era muy sabrosa.
We are two visitors from Turkey. This was our first time in Indochina. We have applied to Best Price Travel's Best of Vietnam and Cambodia 15 days trip. It was incredible. Our contact person Janet was very good and helpful. She was with us on every step. In bref, we were enjoyed the trip and appreshied very much the organisation.
I would definitely recommend using BestPrice Travel for visiting this part of the world. Hang Moon made customizing the standard trip so easy for us, allowing us to work around our timeline while still seeing as much as possible in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Knowing we always had someone to contact gave us peace of mind, although the guides were so good that we really didn't need any extra help during the trip. I honestly cannot say enough good things about all of our guides. They were a huge part of what made this trip so special. Kent and Tam in Hanoi were both excellent. Kent spoke very good English and made sure we didn't get run over by motor scooters! On our food tour, he took us to Train Street as an extra and also made sure we got the egg coffee we had asked for. Tam was so easy to talk with and even helped us take pictures at the incredible places we visited. She also coordinated everything perfectly so we were back in time for our airport transfer and made sure the driver arrangements were all sorted before she left. Lily in Bangkok was wonderful too. She took pictures for us at every site and shared them with us on WhatsApp. She went at our pace, suggested places to eat, made sure we didn't miss anything, and was always warm and friendly. In Siem Reap, Nan was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much of his story with us. Without all of our guides to translate, help us get from one place to another, and make things easier, the trip would have been much more difficult. They really made everything stress free for us. The accommodation was also very good throughout the trip. Our hotel in Hanoi was comfortable, clean and spacious, with a good location for sightseeing and shopping. The staff were very accommodating and let us leave our bags there while we spent the day sightseeing before our flight. Breakfast was excellent too. The hotel in Bangkok was very nice, and our hotel in Siem Reap was probably our favorite. The pools were especially welcome because it was so hot when we visited, and the rooms were large and clean. The location was perfect, right next to the shops, and we always felt safe there. The Halong Bay cruise was amazing. The crew were so welcoming and the whole experience was incredible. The itinerary, food and drinks were all excellent, and we really felt that we were able to enjoy each destination without having to worry about the logistics. I would rate this trip 10/10. A huge thank you to Hang and all of the guides who helped make our trip so enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely recommend BestPrice Travel to anyone planning a trip to this part of the world!
Mi experiencia en general fue fantástica Hubo algunas cosas que habría agradecido tener durante el viaje: - Algunos de los guías fueron muy atentos y me dieron recomendaciones, mapas y algunas ideas para hacer por las noches, lo cual me ayudó mucho porque era nueva en los países que estaba visitando. Otros guías podrían haber hecho un poco más en este sentido. - El hotel de Ninh Binh fue probablemente lo que menos nos gustó. Había bastantes mosquitos, la presión del agua era bastante floja y las paredes eran muy finas, así que se escuchaba fácilmente lo que hablaban en la habitación de al lado.
We continued to have a fantastic holiday in Cambodia. Phnom Penh was a real surprise. Hotel Doung Chan was absolutely amazing and definitely one of our favourite hotels. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The rooftop pool was also fantastic. The city tour was very interesting, particularly the history of the Khmer Rouge and the visits to the Killing Field and S21 prison. July was a very good guide and really funny too. In Siem Reap, Tara Angkor Hotel was beautiful. The pool area was gorgeous and a great place to relax after touring Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat itself was amazing. Dom was an excellent guide and his knowledge of Cambodian history was extraordinary. He clearly loves his job and was fascinating to listen to. We also really enjoyed the Jeep trip to Kulen Mountain. Don and his team were great fun and the National Park was beautiful, although very dusty. The visit to Ta Prohm Village, the ox cart ride and Kampong Phluk floating village were all very interesting. The cultural show in Siem Reap was excellent too.
Our time in Vietnam was excellent overall and we really enjoyed the variety of places and experiences. One thing I would mention is the climb at Trang An. Two members of our group have heart conditions and both had problems after climbing the steps. We felt that a little more information about the climb would have been helpful, particularly for older travellers. Something as simple as advising people to take their time and bring some snacks and drinks could make a difference. The Halong Bay trip was awesome and absolutely fantastic. The early morning Tai Chi was a great experience. In Hoi An, Toni was a very good and informative guide. We particularly enjoyed the local fishing village and boat trip. Two of our group would also have liked to do a moped tour, so perhaps this could be offered as an optional activity in the future. Ho Chi Minh City was also very interesting. The Cu Chi Tunnels and history museum were both excellent. Mr Huy Hiep was very informative, and we enjoyed stopping at a local roadside shop for iced coffee. The second day guide, Lyndt, was also excellent and kept us informed throughout the tour. The Mekong Delta was great, especially seeing the local brick kiln and straw mat making.
