If you're in Myanmar, you must go there. What a unique location with almost the entire city on water. It was a fascinating hour-long boat excursion from the shore to our accommodation on the lake. It was simply beautiful when we went sightseeing during the day. There are residences, schools, businesses, factories, and eateries—basically, a complete city on water. All visitors must take a boat trip on the lake, and staying a few days at one of the facilities inside the lake is a calming and restful experience.

We booked this last minute because BestPrice has one of the cheapest tour, comparing to the others. We had relatively low expectations after considering some reviews. We completed the one-day trip, which included an elephant camp, forest trekking to see orchids and butterflies. Such a wonderful day with so many things and a wonderful guide. This is a tour for folks who are seeking relaxation and on a budget.
