A nice cruise for 3 days in Halong Bay. Our cabin was the Senior Suite, which was quite large with a private balcony to relax. The staff was the highlight, they were so nice with us.

We chose to do the Lan Ha Bay cruise due to reviews that read saying Lan Ha Bay was less busy. Also visiting Cat Ba island and cycling interested us. The Doria cruise was top-line and worth the price. Our room was the highest on the fifth level, which we had decided to upgrade when we booked.

We booked the Halong Bay cruise on the Catherine. We booked direct from the UK. Everybody was super helpful and adaptable to our needs. On the tours, we found all of the guides to be really helpful and flexible where needed. They seemed to be really interested in making sure that we had a good time. Gut organisierte Tour mit Abholung im Hotel. Die Fahrt dauerte zwar 2 Stunden aber in angenehmem Kleinbus mit einem Zwischenstop. Die Erfahrungen auf dem Boot waren top. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Balkon (Excecutive Suite) und die Betreuung sowie die Verpflegung war hervorragend. Auf dem Boot… MoreGut organisierte Tour mit Abholung im Hotel. La cabina es muy bonita y amplia, y el personal es muy amable y atento. Lo único que las actividades como el taichi o la pesca del calamar no alcanzan es lo que representa el crucero. La comida estuvo excelente y todo lo demás estuvo bien.

The staff, from check-in to goodbye, were welcoming and just lovely.

Meals were sleek and varied, and we had a blast kayaking and even tried our hand at the cooking class.
All in all, a solid experience… if you’re mindful of extras and can look past the occasional eco-blemish.
