Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- More than 21 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates
Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Children Policy
- Children under 5 years old sharing: FOC, sharing EVERYTHING with parents (Limited to 1 child/1 cabin), from 2nd children: charged 50% adult (without extra bed)
- From 5 to under 11 years old: 01 Child stays in the double/twin cabin with 2 adults: charged 75% adult.
- From 11 years old: Children from 11 years old will be charged as adults. Two children below 11 years stay in a private cabin are charged at 100% of the full cabin rate.
- Charged 100% for the third person using an extra bed

Summer Schedule
Day 1Hanoi - Halong International Harbor - Bai Tu Long Bay - Cong Do
(Available from 01/04 to 30/10)
Morning
8:00 - 8:30: For guests who have booked the transfer service (additional charge applies), pick-up will be arranged from the Hanoi Old Quarter for your journey to Halong Bay.
12:00 - 12:45: The cruise team will greet you upon your arrival at the waiting lounge at Halong International Harbor. You may complete the check-in procedures before boarding.
Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the Signature Royal Cruise via tender boat. When you get on the cruise ship, a safety briefing and itinerary overview will be provided while you enjoy a welcome drink.
Later, lunch is served at the onboard restaurant as the cruise sets off towards Bai Tu Long Bay, known for its unspoiled beauty and iconic limestone formations.
Afternoon
The cruise will anchor in the Cong Do area, a scenic spot perfect for kayaking through towering limestone karsts and swimming at serene, untouched beaches. Guests can also relax on the soft white sands and take in the natural surroundings.
Afterward, we will return to the cruise to unwind. Optional massages are available (advance booking required). Enjoy Happy Hour (Buy 1 Get 1 Free) drinks at sunset, or participate in a Vietnamese cooking class.

Day 2Thien Canh Son Cave - Hanoi
Morning & Afternoon
Begin your day with a refreshing 30-minute Tai Chi session on the sundeck while the cruise makes its way to the next destination.
A light breakfast will be offered at the restaurant before we head to Thien Canh Son Cave, known for its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites spread across three chambers.

Remember to wear sneakers as we will have a short hike, approximately 200 steps, to reach the cave. After the cave tour, you can enjoy a peaceful walk along the nearby white sand beach, soaking in the panoramic views.
Later, return to Signature Royal Cruise, relax, and pack your belongings. Check-out is at 9:00, Please leave your luggage outside your room for the staff to handle. Then, a brunch buffet will be served as the cruise returns to the harbor.
10:45: Disembark from the cruise via tender at Halong International Harbor. For those with pre-arranged transfers, return transportation to Hanoi will be provided (extra charge).
Expect to arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter by approximately 14:30, concluding your trip.

Winter Schedule
Day 1Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay - Vung Vieng Fishing Village

Morning
8:00 - 8:30: A shuttle transfer (book in the next step with an additional fee) picks up guests who book the transfer service in Hanoi Old Quarter, then transfers to the Halong International Harbour.
12:00 - 12:45: If you don't use our transfer car, get to the waiting lounge by yourself, where you process the check-in procedure and transfer to Signature Royal Cruise by tender.
Enjoy a welcome drink while the captain briefs you about safety instructions and the itinerary. You can rest in your cabin afterward.
A fresh seafood lunch will be served as the boat sails through the extraordinary limestone karst landscapes of Halong Bay.
Afternoon
Set sail for Bai Tu Long Bay, an excellent alternative for travelers who like a peaceful trip.
It’s time to explore Vung Vieng fishing village, a peaceful and rustic floating village. Here, we have time to discover the life and culture of the fisherman by local rowing boats or kayaking.

In the late afternoon, join the sunset party with Happy Hour (Buy one, get another one for free) and admire the alluring bay at sunset.

Day 2Thien Canh Son Cave - Halong International Harbor - Hanoi
Morning
Start the day with a refreshing Tai Chi session. Then, you can relax with a cup of tea, coffee, or juice and watch the miraculous scenery of the bay at sunrise.
Our restaurant will serve a light breakfast; enjoy your meal and prepare for the day.
Later, you’ll visit Thien Canh Son Cave and islets at the center of Bai Tu Long Bay. Witness the dazzling stalactites and stalagmites in many shapes and sizes. All of them combine with the colorful lighting creating a stunning picture inside the cave.

After the excursion to the cave, it’s time to return to the cruise and process the check-out procedure around 9:00. While the boat is sailing back to the pier, you will have an early brunch.
10:45: Transfer to Halong International Harbour by tender, say goodbye to the staff, then disembark.
Afternoon
For customers who booked the transfer service (book in the next step with an additional fee), a driver will pick you up and drive back to Hanoi.
Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter at approximately 14:00 - 14:30. This is the end of your trip.

On day 2, it’s time to travel to Thien Canh Son Cave. The 3-day itinerary has more challenges for discovering the Cong Dam Area, best known for its crystal clear sandy beaches.

You will be served two bottles of water per day in every cabin during your voyage. You can also enjoy drinks at the cruise bar or the Happy Hour party. However, you will need to pay a surcharge on the bar’s menu.
In addition, water, tea, coffee, and a basket of fresh fruit will be provided in each room. On the other hand, passengers staying in the Exclusive Family Suite and Elite Family Suite have wine in the cabin.

Transportation
The passengers on Athena Royal Cruise will use a luxury limousine with a capacity of 15 seats for transfer. This bus has amenities like air conditioning, plush leather seats, complimentary beverages and snacks, internet on board, and USB ports for charging phones and gadgets.
A limousine will pick you up at 8:00 - 8:30 at your hotel around Hanoi Old Quarter. Then move to Halong International Cruise Port in 2.5 hours to check in before traveling to the cruise by tender.
If you decide to transfer by yourself, you must present at the Cruise Port before 11:30.
