After our two-day, one-night inspection trip, we highly recommend Ambassador Cruise Halong Bay for anyone looking for a 5-star cruise experience. With five spacious decks and a high-capacity design, this luxury ship is especially well-suited for couples, families, and larger groups.

We also appreciated the convenient embarkation process, with an electric cart transfer taking us directly to the cruise at the port, making boarding smooth and hassle-free.

Ambassador Cruise truly lives up to its 5-star rating with high-end facilities, including a spa, jacuzzi pool, and piano lounge, along with elegant accommodations. We stayed in an Ambassador Premium Suite, which was thoughtfully designed with a warm color palette that created a cozy and inviting space for our overnight stay.

• The elevator is especially convenient, making it much easier to move between decks.
• The twin 360-degree sundecks offer an expansive space to relax and take in the bay views.
• The 3rd deck is a great entertainment hub, featuring a piano lounge with live music and a jacuzzi at the bow

• Some engine noise in the cabins at the back of the ship, which may be noticeable at times.

Overall, we found the dining experience on board satisfactory. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, including several Indian options, and portions were generous. While the food was generally well prepared, it did not particularly stand out for us. Given the cruise’s high capacity, the dining room could also feel quite busy and noisy during mealtimes.
