More than 35 days before check-in: FREE of charge
From 34 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
From 19 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
Less than 10 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates

Cancellation due to bad weather

If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:

Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

Cruise Itineraries

Day 1Hanoi - Halong - Bai Tu Long - Cap La

Morning

8:00 - 8:30: You will be picked up from your central Hanoi hotel and transported to the Indochina Junk Office in a shuttle bus (book in the next step with an additional fee).

You can check in at the waiting area once you arrive at around 11:30 and then board an electric car to head to the cruise port.

Greetings aboard! A complimentary drink and a cruise briefing will be provided by the staff as they welcome you.

Then proceed to complete the check-in process, and store your things in the designated cabin before savoring a delicious lunch and soaking in the spectacular scenery as the ship makes its way to Bai Tu Long Bay.

Afternoon

The first stop is the Cap La region, also known as a naval facility. Kayaking is an excellent way to discover spectacular rock islands and clean nature.

After an adventurous exploration, return to the cruise to unwind at sunset and get ready for the evening's plans.

Evening

Enjoy a scrumptious dinner well-prepared by our chef at the cruise’s restaurant.

Following that, you can relax in the ship's bar and spa, try your hand at squid fishing, watch a movie in your cabin, relax on the sundeck, and play some board games.

Day 2Thien Canh Son Cave - Vung Dang - Cong Dam

Morning

Before embarking on today's excursion, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a hearty breakfast in the fresh air of the bay's surroundings to energize yourself.

Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, the most magnificent natural cave in Bai Tu Long Bay, with fascinating stalactites and stalagmites that have evolved over thousands of years. Enjoy kayaking and exploring Hon Co.

You'll have a barbecue lunch on the edge of the white sand beach at Cong Dam to instantly refresh your thoughts. Spend some time enjoying delicious food and engaging in some beach activities.

Afternoon & Evening

After an eventful day, let’s get back to the junk for relaxing and joining a Vietnamese cuisine cooking class.

Indulge in a dining experience like no other at our dining area, where the artistry of culinary creation meets the finest ingredients.

After your sumptuous dinner, the night is yours to enjoy. Spend time enjoying thrilling activities like squid fishing, enjoying the breeze on the sundeck, or simply unwinding in your room.

Day 3Vung Vieng Village - Halong International Port - Hanoi

Morning

Prepare energy for the second day with a light breakfast with coffee and tea in the dining room.

Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, a tiny, isolated community with stunning views. Local fishermen on bamboo boats will take you to explore the fishing community's distinctive way of life.

When finishing sightseeing, return to the cruise and process check-out around 9:45 - 10:00 while cruising back to Cap La. Please enjoy a set menu lunch while cruising back to the port.

Optional: This activity is only available for those who book the transfer service of Indochina Junk.

A shuttle bus will pick you up from Halong Cruise Port to continue visiting Yen Duc Village, where you’ll have a chance to attend a water puppet show performed by local artists and get to know more about Vietnamese traditional arts.

Then, get back to the bus and return to Hanoi. You might arrive at your hotel at around 16:00.

Transportation

Transport from Hanoi: The company's bus will pick you up at the old quarter of Hanoi at the pre-arranged point from 08:00 to 08:30. If you are traveling by yourself, please be at the pier by 12:00 to check in before boarding the cruise.
Transport from Tuan Chau port: At 12:00, you will depart at Tuan Chau wharf. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink, and the guide will introduce the itinerary and disseminate safety rules on board.

We reserved the Lamour single cabin boat for three nights and two days. We did not know what to anticipate, but WOW. This was above what we could have imagined; our crew was exceptional, and everything exceeded our expectations. We were blown away by the quality of the food we received every day - coursed meals and wonderful beverages. They exceeded our expectations in every way, making our honeymoon really magical and unforgettable. The staff surprised us with a celebration on the last night, which moved us deeply. We were the only guests, therefore we had an excellent experience with the tours/stops you take during your stay. I could not recommend this boat or experience more. The workers who lectured us about history and notable mountains during the boat were also really knowledgeable. We were overjoyed when we went on the Bai Tu Long vs Halong Bay tour; there were no crowds and many fewer boats.

The entire trip was well-organized, and we particularly enjoyed kayaking in Bai Tu Long. Hotel pickup and drop-off were simple and pleasant. The multi-course meals were delicious, and they handled my family's dietary restrictions and allergies with great care. Our tour guide, Be, answered our questions and shared a wealth of knowledge about the Bay's history and the people who still live in the fishing villages. Being in the "less popular" bay was unquestionably the right decision because it had the same scenery but was not overcrowded with tour boats.
