Northern Vietnam Nature & Heritage Cycling Tour 4 days

The journey starts in Hoa Binh Province after a transfer from Hanoi. You will unpack your bikes and start riding toward Mai Chau. The path meanders across large tea, sugarcane, and coffee plantations. As you ride along picturesque paths, you might feel the fresh breeze stroking your face. These times will inspire you of the simplicity and beauty of nature, generating lifelong memories.

You will arrive in Mai Chau, a calm area noted for its beauty. Here you will come across the Thai ethnic minority tribe, well-known for their stilt homes. You might spend time investigating these houses and chatting with the friendly residents. Their kind welcome will help you to feel completely at home in this serene environment.

We shall relax in our lodging in Mai Chau as the day draws to a close. Dinner will highlight regional favorites, thereby allowing you a real experience of the area. Then have a peaceful sleep surrounded by breathtaking scenery in Mai Chau

After breakfast, you will embark on a short transfer to the entrance of Pu Luong Nature Reserve. This will be the starting point for your cycling adventure today. The journey will take you from the western edge of the reserve to the east, allowing you to explore the stunning landscapes.

As you ride, you will have the chance to cycle through spectacular valleys and terraced rice fields. You may be amazed by the views, as every turn will reveal something new.

You will pass some villages on the 50-kilometer journey. You will have the opportunity to engage with locals along the road, learning about their way of life and culture. Their friendliness and hospitality will give your trip a unique personal touch. You will stop at a local restaurant for lunch to enjoy traditional cuisine. Then keep riding easy courses while appreciating Pu Luong's tranquility and beauty.

On Day 3, you will leave the village behind and start your day riding along the road. There will be both uphill and downhill parts of the path, you will enjoy the quiet settings and always-shifting scenery while you pedal.

Today's journey will follow the venerable Ho Chi Minh Trail, noted for its historical importance. You will pass through picturesque scenery while you pedal, with rich green fields far off. The journey is simple, which lets you enjoy the vistas leisurely.

You will transfer to Ninh Binh, the drive will provide you with an opportunity to consider the stunning scenery you recently came across. Charming Ninh Binh boasts a special mix of rich culture and natural beauty.

If time permits, you will have a boat trip to explore Tam Coc, a breathtaking region noted for its tranquil rivers and striking limestone karsts. The calm environment and amazing vistas will help you to become totally in touch with nature. You will spend the evening at Tam Coc, taking in the peace of the surroundings.

Morning

On the last day, you will resume riding through little towns surrounded by rice fields and far-off karst formations. Along the journey, you can come across water buffaloes. The serene countryside scene will envelop you in the pulse of rural life and the environment.

You will get to visit Kenh Ga, a peaceful floating village providing a window into a slower way of life. You will then go on a boat trip, which will allow you to interact with the residents and learn about their way of life.

Afternoon

You will stop for lunch in a nearby restaurant following the boat trip and savor authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Refreshed and content, you will return to Hanoi. Your 4-day experience will come to a conclusion on this trip, which will leave you with wonderful memories of the landscapes of Northern Vietnam and kind people!
