3 day Ha Long Bay experience
by Tripadvisor

We organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat.
Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her.
The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available.
The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.

Looking to travel to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in Feb of 2026 for 3 weeks. 2 adults. Looking for it to include as much interaction with food as possible and doing things in private homes, etc. Want to see all the food markets and industry as possible. Want to cook see how things are made. The rice farms, floating markets. Want to stick to 3 or 4 star hotels unless we cannot stay in some of the must do places ( like the rooms floating on the water.) Then if we have to, we would do 5 star. Want it to be as ethnic as possible.

I am interested perhaps in 3 weeks. I mostly like nature places, but happy to stop briefly in gorgeous things that are in cities = anger What even tho tourist filled - other wonders. Interested in Laos,Cambodia, Viet Nom. I've already spent month in Thailand, but maybe back to one of th eislends, but I could also do that afterwards. Thinking February or March? What would you suggest, and what would the cost be? Do you have a tour for a group or do you arrange these privately? Thanks!

7 - 10 days too short to cover 3 countries, you should do at least 14 days.

I loved the guides, they really made the trip special. They were patient and explained history in a way that was easy to understand. The food was mostly good, sometimes too much rice for me, but that’s just personal taste. Angkor Wat was absolutely breathtaking – worth the whole trip on its own. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and went out of their way to make the trip special. The vans were spacious and comfortable, the hotels were beautiful, and all domestic flights were booked and handled for us. We never had to wait for anything; the entire trip ran like clockwork.
A special thank you to Hang Moon, who was always just a WhatsApp message away and regularly checked in to make sure we were happy and comfortable. With her guidance, and input from friends who had traveled before, we built a personalized itinerary filled with incredible experiences that we will always remember.
There were too many highlights to list here, so I’ve given Hang permission to share my email with anyone considering a trip, so I can tell you more.
You will not be disappointed. This is truly an outstanding tour company, and the price was unbeatable.

The trip was well organized. I really enjoyed the cooking class on the cruise and the Mekong Delta option. Hotels were simple but had everything I needed. Phnom Penh felt rushed, but Siem Reap made up for it. For a budget tour, I think it was a good choice.

While we were in Siem Reap, they checked in with us almost every day to make sure everything was going smoothly, which we really appreciated.
Our tour guide, Nan, was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating historic details about each temple we visited. Our driver, Kong Kea, also took excellent care of us — the car was always cool and comfortable when we returned, with a cold bottle of water waiting. He was a safe, reliable driver, which made the whole trip even more relaxing.
We loved visiting the temples; they were absolutely magnificent. The mountain tour with the river and waterfall was beautiful, and the sunset dinner cruise was a perfect way to end the day.
The Borei Angkor Resort & Spa, arranged by BestPrice Travel, was outstanding — luxurious, comfortable, and a true highlight of the trip.
We were so happy with every aspect of their service and will definitely choose BestPrice Travel again for our next trip to Asia. Less
