Morning
Around 09:00 - 11:30, your journey begins with a smooth 2.5-hour transfer from the vibrant streets of Hanoi to the coastal gateway of Lan Ha Bay, taking the modern highway that cuts through verdant northern landscapes.
By late morning, arrive at the port where your cruise adventure begins, offering a welcome drink, cold towel, and a warm introduction to the majestic seascape that awaits.
Step aboard a luxurious Lan Ha Bay cruise and take a moment to breathe in the salty sea air as the ship slowly pulls away from the harbor. After a welcome beverage, a safety briefing and check-in, settle into your cabin or lounge on the sun deck while enjoying panoramic views of the bay.

A sumptuous lunch awaits in the dining room, featuring freshly caught seafood and a blend of Vietnamese and Western cuisine - flavors that mirror the diversity and richness of the region.
As the cruise glides through the jade-green waters, you’ll pass by captivating sights such as the Da Chong Islet, home to a century-old French lighthouse that stands resiliently on a rocky outcrop. The ship continues its journey past the untouched beauty of Gia Luan, Coc Ngoi Islet, and Thoi Quyt, where limestone cliffs rise from the sea like ancient guardians of this hidden world.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, get ready to discover the mysterious beauty of Dark & Bright Cave. Choose to paddle through these tranquil grottoes by kayak or board a rustic bamboo boat guided by local rowers. The caves open up to peaceful lagoons surrounded by jungle-cloaked cliffs, creating a dreamy scene that feels both otherworldly and intimate.

Depending on the cruise route, you may also explore the Tung Sau Pearl Farm, where pearls are cultivated using a unique combination of traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship and advanced Japanese techniques. Here, you’ll learn about the delicate art of pearl farming and witness the shimmering results firsthand.
After an active day of discovery and swimming in Lan Ha Bay’s emerald waters, the cruise drops anchor at the tranquil Tra Bau area, far from the crowds of more touristic spots. As the sun begins to set, join a lively sunset party onboard with complimentary drinks or take part in an engaging cooking demonstration, where local chefs unveil the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine.
As night falls over the bay, a refined dinner is served in the ambient glow of the dining room, with flavors that evoke both the sea and the land. Afterward, unwind under a canopy of stars - try your luck at squid fishing, enjoy a quiet nigh movie, or simply retreat to your cabin for a restful sleep, lulled by the gentle rhythm of the waves.

Hang Moon made customizing the standard trip so easy for us, allowing us to work around our timeline while still seeing as much as possible in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Knowing we always had someone to contact gave us peace of mind, although the guides were so good that we really didn't need any extra help during the trip.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about all of our guides. They were a huge part of what made this trip so special. Kent and Tam in Hanoi were both excellent. Kent spoke very good English and made sure we didn't get run over by motor scooters! On our food tour, he took us to Train Street as an extra and also made sure we got the egg coffee we had asked for. Tam was so easy to talk with and even helped us take pictures at the incredible places we visited. She also coordinated everything perfectly so we were back in time for our airport transfer and made sure the driver arrangements were all sorted before she left.
Lily in Bangkok was wonderful too. She took pictures for us at every site and shared them with us on WhatsApp. She went at our pace, suggested places to eat, made sure we didn't miss anything, and was always warm and friendly. In Siem Reap, Nan was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much of his story with us. Without all of our guides to translate, help us get from one place to another, and make things easier, the trip would have been much more difficult. They really made everything stress free for us.
The accommodation was also very good throughout the trip. Our hotel in Hanoi was comfortable, clean and spacious, with a good location for sightseeing and shopping. The staff were very accommodating and let us leave our bags there while we spent the day sightseeing before our flight. Breakfast was excellent too. The hotel in Bangkok was very nice, and our hotel in Siem Reap was probably our favorite. The pools were especially welcome because it was so hot when we visited, and the rooms were large and clean. The location was perfect, right next to the shops, and we always felt safe there.
The Halong Bay cruise was amazing. The crew were so welcoming and the whole experience was incredible. The itinerary, food and drinks were all excellent, and we really felt that we were able to enjoy each destination without having to worry about the logistics.
I would rate this trip 10/10. A huge thank you to Hang and all of the guides who helped make our trip so enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely recommend BestPrice Travel to anyone planning a trip to this part of the world! Less

Less
We really enjoyed it.
Our guide in Hanoi, Jerry, was great. The egg coffee was very good too, Zoe even brought some back!

One thing I would mention is the climb at Trang An. Two members of our group have heart conditions and both had problems after climbing the steps. We felt that a little more information about the climb would have been helpful, particularly for older travellers. Something as simple as advising people to take their time and bring some snacks and drinks could make a difference.
The Halong Bay trip was awesome and absolutely fantastic. The early morning Tai Chi was a great experience.
In Hoi An, Toni was a very good and informative guide. We particularly enjoyed the local fishing village and boat trip. Two of our group would also have liked to do a moped tour, so perhaps this could be offered as an optional activity in the future.
Ho Chi Minh City was also very interesting. The Cu Chi Tunnels and history museum were both excellent. Mr Huy Hiep was very informative, and we enjoyed stopping at a local roadside shop for iced coffee.
The second day guide, Lyndt, was also excellent and kept us informed throughout the tour. The Mekong Delta was great, especially seeing the local brick kiln and straw mat making. Less
Best Price fue muy fácil de tratar. Camelia se comunicó claramente con nosotros y nos dio recomendaciones muy útiles.
