I definitely recommend this full day city tour.
Luckily that I had an exceptional tour guide, Mr Viengxay, according with a very good driver and vehicle. It made my tour of Vientiane memorable and informative.

He was really friendly and knowledgeable, told us about the history of each visited sites, he is also happy to share any insights you’d like to know about the culture in Laos. He also pays good attention to his client needs.

The driver and guide were both kind, professional, and amusing. It was an excellent half-day trip, albeit keep in mind that we did not stop at the recommended restaurant for a drink and views of the Mekong. On the way back, though, we were given a Pepsi.
The tour guide was fantastic in terms of local knowledge and ability to keep stories short and straight to the point, so that we didn't have to stand out in the sun for too long. The scenery were fine, but not spectacular. A little dusty or in need of repair. Overall, an excellent one-day of exploring Laos' capital!
This was an excellent way to experience Vientiane. Tansy, our tour guide, was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, giving us clear information and stories about life of the locals and their traditions.
