There are three distinct seasons in Myanmar's tropical to subtropical monsoon climate:
- The hot season from March to May has dry inter-monsoonal weather. The average temperature is about 30-35°C.

- The dry season from late November to February is comparatively chilly. The average temperature is 20-24°C.
A six-month passport is required for any visitor when visiting Myanmar. It is important to verify with the Myanmar embassy in your place of residency before making travel arrangements, as visa requirements might change often. Since the tourist visas on arrival (VOA) are no longer available in Myanmar, you may apply for a Myanmar tourist visa online (eVisa) or in person at a Myanmar Embassy.
To get eVisa, you should go to www.evisa.moip.gov.mm and fill out the application form. The needed documents are:
- A passport with a validity of at least 6 months after the arrival date;
- One color photo (4.8cm x 3.8cm) taken during the last 3 months
- A visa or master credit card for the visa fee of US $50

2. Your application will be processed within 5 working days.
