Beutiful Experience with Best Price Travel & Hang Moon! 1034140638 12-Day Vietnam Tour – Beutiful Experience with Best Price Travel & Hang Moon! My wife and I recently completed a 12-day tour of Vietnam, travelling from North to South, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Best Price Travel and the amazing Hang Moon. throughout the trip, Moon was with us every step of the way. Her communication was outstanding, staying in touch via WhatsApp and ensuring every part of our trip ran smoothly. The itinerary was well organised and balanced, covering all the highlights of Vietnam. Every detail, from airport transfers to hotel check-ins, tours, and internal transport was perfectly timed and stress free. The 4-star hotels we stayed in were fantastic, all including buffet breakfasts that exceeded our expectations. Lunches (when included) were set menus at reputable restaurants, giving us a real taste of Vietnamese cuisine. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, polite, and gave us plenty of time to explore and enjoy at our own pace. When our overnight Halong Bay cruise was unfortunately cut short due to bad weather, Best Price Travel quickly organised a private car to return us to our hotel without any delays. A refund was processed for the activities we missed was organised by our agent Moon. This was a hassle free experience, run by honest, professional people who really care about their clients. For our next holiday, we won’t look anywhere else, we’ll be booking again with Best Price Travel. Thank you, Vietnam, Best Price Travel, and especially the lovely Moon

6 Days Tour of Vietnam
by Tripadvisor
We recently booked a 6-day Vietnam trip through BestPrice Travel, covering Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and back. Initially, we were skeptical—six nights with airport transfers, domestic airfare, and hotel accommodations for under $600 seemed too good to be true. We honestly expected low-quality hotels and mediocre service. To our surprise, it turned out to be one of the best trips we've ever taken. The hotels were comfortable, and the tours exceeded our expectations. Everything was well-organized and seamless. Special thanks to Cindy Pham from BestPrice Travel, who was incredibly patient and helpful in coordinating every detail of our itinerary. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the end of our journey, everything went smoothly. We highly recommend BestPrice Travel to anyone planning a trip to Vietnam. Their service and value are outstanding.

The best time to visit Vietnam for Indian travellers to have the best experience for all 3 regions North, South, and Central is from October to April, which has the nicest weather for a long holiday with less rain and cool temperature, suitable for most indoor and outdoor activities. This time also coincides with many long holidays in India such as Diwali, Eid, Christmas & New Year. Besides, due to the convenient location, Vietnam is also a good place to enjoy some short holidays (by adding some days of annual leaves) like Holi, Independence Day, or Republic Day.
Note: this time is only perfect for beach vacation in Central and South Vietnam, low temperature in the North from November to April is not suitable for enjoying any kind of water activities. For families with kids, the summer holiday in May and June is a better choice to experience Vietnam with sun, sand, and sea.

Yes, Indian citizens need a visa to enter Vietnam. However, they can apply for an e-visa online, which allows stays of up to 90 days with single or multiple entries. Alternatively, Indian travelers can apply for a visa on arrival (VOA), but this requires obtaining an approval letter before arrival.
- Visa On Arrival (VOA): ~ INR 1750 - 3450 /person
- e-Visa: ~ INR 3450 /person. Please note that not all countries are granted Vietnam eVisa, click here to see the detailed list

Up to 2024, citizens from 25 countries can enter Vietnam without a visa (at least 14 days, depending on each nation).
NOTE: 3 blank passport pages are required before arrival. You should check with the consultant for the updated information
You can contact us for applying eVisa with simple procedures and time-saving.

Yes, Vietnam is generally a very safe and welcoming destination for Indian travellers. Whether you are travelling solo, as a couple, or with family, most visitors find the country peaceful, secure, and easy to explore. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are some key safety aspects to keep in mind:
Public Security
Vietnam is politically stable with low violent crime rates. Petty crimes like pickpocketing or bag snatching may occur in crowded tourist areas, so keep your belongings close and avoid showing valuables in public.
Traffic Safety
Traffic in major cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City can be chaotic, with a high number of motorbikes and limited pedestrian infrastructure. Always be cautious when crossing streets and consider using ride-hailing apps like Grab instead of renting motorbikes unless you’re experienced.
Food & Drink Hygiene
Street food is a highlight of Vietnam, but make sure to eat at stalls or restaurants that are busy and appear clean. Avoid tap water - stick to bottled water and use it even when brushing your teeth. Be cautious with ice and unwashed fruits.
Natural Disasters
Vietnam’s climate includes typhoons (July - October in Central and Northern regions) and seasonal flooding in the Mekong Delta and Central areas. Check weather updates and avoid affected regions during heavy rains.
Health Care
Vietnam has international hospitals in major cities like Vinmec, French Hospital, and FV Hospital. These offer 24/7 care with English-speaking doctors and multilingual staff.
Vaccinations
Before visiting Vietnam, Indian travellers should consider the following vaccinations (consult your doctor 4 - 6 weeks before travel):
- Hepatitis A and B
- Typhoid
- Tetanus-diphtheria
- Japanese Encephalitis (especially if visiting rural areas or travelling long-term)
- Rabies (if you plan outdoor activities or contact with animals)
- Malaria prevention (for specific forested or rural zones, particularly in the Central Highlands)
For further details, take a look at our ultimate guide Is it safe to travel in Vietnam?
Generally, when traveling to Vietnam, you have to notice two important things about the electricity in this country - plugs and voltage:
| India | Vietnam | |
| Frequency | 50 Hz | 50 Hz |
| Voltage | 230 V | 220 V |
| Socket Types | C/ D (2 / 3-pin round socket) | C / F (2 / 3-pin round socket) |
If you are traveling from India to Vietnam:
- Devices with a Type C plug can be used directly in Vietnam without any adapter.
- Devices with a Type D plug will require a plug adapter to fit into Vietnamese sockets.
It is recommended to bring a universal adapter to ensure compatibility with all socket types during your trip.
Tipping is not compulsory since it’s not part of Vietnam culture, you do not have to tip everywhere when traveling in the country. You can choose to tip as a thank you to the staff providing you with good services, they will be happy and highly appreciate that.
If you are wondering how much is suitable for tipping, check out our suggestions below:
| Tour guide | Private Tours: US $7 - 10 Group Tours: US $3 - 5 | ₹580 – ₹830 ₹250 – ₹415 |
| Taxi driver | US $3 - 5 | ₹250 – ₹415 |
| Bellman | US $2 - 4 | ₹165 – ₹330 |
| Housekeeper | About US $2 | About ₹165 |
| Restaurant Waiter/Waitress | US $1 - 3 | ₹85 – ₹250 |
| Spa Staff | US $5 - 8 | ₹415 – ₹665 |
Yes, you should. Though Travel Insurance is not always mandatory for international travel, buying it is still a wise decision since the insurance will prevent you from unpredictable financial losses.
Medical emergencies, flight cancellations, money losses, etc., can happen at any time during your future trip - and when they occur, the insurance will work and take care of your expenses. Hence, Travel Insurance is very important for your trip.
It’s highly recommended to buy Travel Insurance in your country before the journey. If you need help buying insurance, contact our sales consultants for support.

Travelers from small-group tours rarely go together from the beginning until the end. They usually meet each other halfway because they can partly customize the journey, leading to great participation and wonderful experiences when meeting new friends.
Currently, Vietnam is positioned 34th on the global fixed internet ranking while standing 19th in mobile internet speed. Thus, accessing internet in this country is as easy as pie. Excluding some specific places such as secluded mountainous areas or offshore, free WiFi can be found in airports, coffee shops, restaurants, and hotels.
However, for more stable, faster WiFi, you should purchase a 4G/ 5G SIM card to access Internet at any time of day. A Vietnamese SIM is not too expensive, only from US $5.5, and you can buy them on platforms like Klook / KKday, or at airports, phone stores, mobile network providers’ stores. Also, there are options for eSim which are a little cheaper, only from US $4.
Best mobile network brands in Vietnam:
| SIM Card Providers | Price Per 4G SIM |
| Viettel | ₹540 – ₹1,370 |
| Vinafone | ₹460 – ₹620 |
| Mobifone | ₹375 – ₹790 |

@Addison:
Hi, good time to see Ban Gioc Waterfall is from June to October, especially Sept - Oct is the best time as it has lots of water and you can see the signature green color of the wate here. March - unfortunately is the dry season of this Waterfall; therefore, if you are hunting for the most stunning scenery of this place, we suggest you should change your travel time to October, 2026.

Tom was fantastic. He organised push bikes for us, showed us around town and was so knowledgeable. After also spending 2 days with him on walking and street food tours in Hanoi, it was just so nice to have someone we knew and trusted looking after us. He was not only a great guide but also such a lovely person.
The Mon Cheri cruise was another highlight. My husband injured his hand just before we got on the boat and the team took care of everything, even arranging for a staff member to take him to the hospital and then bring him back to the boat later that afternoon. Just incredible service and care.
We have already told so many friends and colleagues about BestPrice Travel. Thank you so much to Hang and the whole team for an amazing holiday and so many special memories for our family. 10/10!

We especially liked the guides during the cycling tours in Mai Chau and Ninh Binh, who were very kind and helpful. The combination of private arrangements and agency-organized activities worked very well for us.
The only disappointment was the tour in Mai Chau, which unfortunately could not go ahead because of the rain. We were not offered an alternative by Mr. Ka, and we also couldn't reach him by phone when we arrived. The hotel staff and the bike guide were helpful, though, and we still enjoyed our time there.
Overall, we were very happy with the itinerary, food and accommodation, which we would rate 10/10. The guides would be an 8/10 mainly because of the issue in Mai Chau. Despite this, it was a very enjoyable trip and we would recommend it. Less

Hang Moon made customizing the standard trip so easy for us, allowing us to work around our timeline while still seeing as much as possible in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Knowing we always had someone to contact gave us peace of mind, although the guides were so good that we really didn't need any extra help during the trip.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about all of our guides. They were a huge part of what made this trip so special. Kent and Tam in Hanoi were both excellent. Kent spoke very good English and made sure we didn't get run over by motor scooters! On our food tour, he took us to Train Street as an extra and also made sure we got the egg coffee we had asked for. Tam was so easy to talk with and even helped us take pictures at the incredible places we visited. She also coordinated everything perfectly so we were back in time for our airport transfer and made sure the driver arrangements were all sorted before she left.
Lily in Bangkok was wonderful too. She took pictures for us at every site and shared them with us on WhatsApp. She went at our pace, suggested places to eat, made sure we didn't miss anything, and was always warm and friendly. In Siem Reap, Nan was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much of his story with us. Without all of our guides to translate, help us get from one place to another, and make things easier, the trip would have been much more difficult. They really made everything stress free for us.
The accommodation was also very good throughout the trip. Our hotel in Hanoi was comfortable, clean and spacious, with a good location for sightseeing and shopping. The staff were very accommodating and let us leave our bags there while we spent the day sightseeing before our flight. Breakfast was excellent too. The hotel in Bangkok was very nice, and our hotel in Siem Reap was probably our favorite. The pools were especially welcome because it was so hot when we visited, and the rooms were large and clean. The location was perfect, right next to the shops, and we always felt safe there.
The Halong Bay cruise was amazing. The crew were so welcoming and the whole experience was incredible. The itinerary, food and drinks were all excellent, and we really felt that we were able to enjoy each destination without having to worry about the logistics.
I would rate this trip 10/10. A huge thank you to Hang and all of the guides who helped make our trip so enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely recommend BestPrice Travel to anyone planning a trip to this part of the world! Less

We worked our way from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City via lots of great places. Everything worked smoothly, hotels, food and transport well organised and of good quality.
With it being a family holiday, we were a bit concerned about suitability for the children, but this was unfounded. We were kayaking, cycling, surfing, swimming (sea, water park and hotel pools) as well as going on an overnight cruise and a sleeper train. The children loved it.
In addition to praising Rosie for organising it all in advance (and updating us throughout the holiday as required), we must commend the guides and drivers. They were very flexible and despite being knowledgeable, felt more like friends rather than authoritarian sources of wisdom. We will miss them all.
Note the tour can be booked at two different “quality” level. We went for the lower/cheaper one which was perfectly adequate. Everything was of great standard and would suspect that the children running riot in 5 star hotel pools might have been more troublesome.
Would recommend to families to do the same and use the saved money for tipping and to book extra activities (such as surfing and water park mentioned above, everything else mentioned was included). Less
