Highlights included our street food walking tour in Hanoi, the peaceful stay at Victoria Nui Sam Lodge in Chau Doc, and the scenic boat ride up the Mekong River to Phnom Penh. The accommodations throughout were of a very high standard, and the helpful tips along the way ensured everything ran smoothly.

Hanoi, Vietnam:
Our guide Tung was outstanding—personable, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable. He took the time to explain Vietnam’s rich history and culture in a way that was both accessible and memorable. The food tour, led by Jenny Tran, was another highlight. Her warm personality and engaging storytelling elevated the experience. She shared fascinating insights into each dish and clearly had a great rapport with the vendors, which made the tour feel authentic and enjoyable.
Halong Bay:
This part of the trip was fantastic. Our guide kept the group engaged and active, with a strong knowledge of the area that added depth to the scenic cruise experience.
Hoi An:
Our guide in Hoi An was friendly and made an effort to ensure we enjoyed the tour. There were occasional challenges in communication, but she compensated with her attentiveness and connections with local artisans, especially during our visit to the silk-making vendor.
Ho Chi Minh City:
The guide in Ho Chi Minh was very informative, particularly when covering Vietnam’s historical events. He was sensitive in preparing us for some of the more emotional content at the museums, which I appreciated. His thoughtful approach added depth to our understanding, though I recognize it may not resonate the same way for everyone.
Siem Reap, Cambodia:
Our guide here was excellent—patient and insightful during the temple visits. He gave us time to absorb the history and was proactive in pointing out significant details, even offering to take photos that captured meaningful moments.
Thailand:
In Chiang Mai, my guide was warm and tried her best to share background information, though I felt she is still growing in experience. Nonetheless, she made the day pleasant and even shared lunch with me, which I appreciated.
In Bangkok, Su Ying was the highlight of my entire trip. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in making sure I had an amazing time. She encouraged me to wear a traditional outfit for temple photos—a unique and fun memory—and even helped coordinate a Thai massage when I mentioned back pain. Her enthusiasm, kindness, and attention to detail made the experience unforgettable. If I return to Bangkok, I would absolutely request her as my guide again.
Overall:
This trip exceeded my expectations thanks to the incredible local guides. Each brought something special to the experience, and I am especially grateful for their dedication, knowledge, and hospitality. Menos
Just wrapped up our trip and honestly, it was such an amazing experience! I’d give the itinerary a solid 8 out of 10 — everything was planned out well, and we got to see all the major spots. A few things could’ve been timed a bit better, but overall, it was really smooth and enjoyable.

The food and drinks? Wow — 10 out of 10 without a doubt. We tried so many delicious local dishes, and every meal felt like a treat. Seriously, we were blown away by the variety and flavor.
Now about the guides — they were a huge part of what made the trip so great. In Hanoi, our guide was super punctual and professional. The stop at Train Street (Train 222) was such a cool experience — that half-day tour gave us a great feel for the city.
In Hoi An, we met Tommy, who picked us up right on time and took care of our transfer to the Halong Bay cruise. He was really friendly, knew so much about the area, and made us feel totally at ease.
Then in Ho Chi Minh City, we had Ms. Linh, who was just amazing — super knowledgeable, experienced, and easy to talk to. You could tell she really loved what she does.
All in all, this trip was full of great memories, delicious food, and awesome people. Highly recommend if you’re thinking about exploring Vietnam! Menos

guides and drivers are all excellent too. Their planned 3 week plus tour is
designed to visit and see the highlights of each country. During the initial
