Cruise Itineraries

Day 1Hanoi - Tuan Chau Marina - Cua Van Village - Tien Ong Cave

Morning

8:00 - 8:30: A shuttle bus (book in the next step with an additional fee) will pick you up to transfer from Hanoi Old Quarter to Ha Long Bay. Transfer time is around 2.5 hours.

Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, move to the Heritage Line welcoming lounge for the checking-in process before getting on a speedboat and transferring to your luxurious cruise.

Once you reach the vessel, please relish your delicious lunch while sailing through magnificent Ha Long Bay.

Afternoon

The first destination of our exciting journey is Cua Van Village, the oldest floating fishing town and the home base for some of the region's last commercial fishermen and aquaculturists.

Now, let’s get a glimpse of village life from a small bamboo boat rowed by locals as we explore the area's floating structures.

Come to Cua Van fishing village

Come to Cua Van fishing village

Please notice that you can use one of the provided kayaks (additional fee) to explore the area at your own pace.

Subsequently, continue to visit the neighboring Tien Ong Cave by tender. This cave still retains the pristine beauty that marks the traces of time with artifacts from between 10,000 and 8,000 B.C. found.

It is a golden opportunity for you to gain profound insights about the history, structures, as well as culture here.

After exploring, it’s time to come back to the cruise, relax with a drink in hand on the sun deck, and savor every moment between the awe-inspiring sceneries of Halong Bay.

Furthermore, you're welcome to join our onboard chef for a cooking demonstration and get to know more about the culinary beauty of Vietnam.

Night

Following leisure time, a gourmet dinner featuring both worldwide and Vietnamese favorites will be served to fulfill your taste buds.

After that, you can also try your hand at squid fishing, reading in the library, or spending time on the sundeck, which is always a good time for unwinding.

Day 2Titop Island - Halong Bay - Hanoi

Morning

Start your day by awakening your senses with Tai Chi on the sundeck while enjoying the stunning views of the bay and soaking up some vitamin sea.

Don't forget to enjoy breakfast with pastries, coffee, and tea in the restaurant afterward.

Our excursion today begins with Ti Top - a small limestone island in Ha Long Bay, home to a beautiful stretch of sand. Hike to the peak for breathtaking vistas of the Bay or jump in the water for a nice morning swim in the emerald waters below.

After that, let’s dine on a delicious brunch while sailing back to the harbor. Take it easy on the restaurant's patio or the sundeck.

Reach the port and disembark at around 11:00 - 11:30. Please spend some time relaxing while waiting for a bus transfer back to Hanoi (book in the next step with an additional fee).

Great 3-day cruise

We decided to visit Bai Tu Long Bay instead of Halong Bay, and it was a wonderful experience. There are fewer boats in the bay. The ship was also peaceful, as it was on the smaller side. I must say the higher price is worth it. The service is amazing.

Magical Bai Tu Long Bay

Wonderful cruise. Lovely spacious room with a view from the bath and a very large bed. Food was excellent, staff charming, and the food delicious. Cindy organised this for us and was kind enough to rebook it for us when we were sick on our original date. I loved the kayaking and the cave trip, and all the activities were excellent.
Highly recommended.

We chose the Heritage Line Violet Cruise for a short escape, and honestly, it exceeded our expectations in the most understated way.

From the moment we stepped onboard, the atmosphere felt calm and personal rather than flashy. Violet isn’t a huge ship, which turned out to be a big plus. It felt intimate, almost like staying on a floating boutique hotel. The design blends classic Indochine elegance with modern comfort, and everything was immaculately maintained.

Such a great time on the Heritage Line Violet

This ship is a small & stylish boat that feels really personal. Our cabin was gorgeous with a private balcony and even a jacuzzi. The crew were amazing, friendly, and helpful, always making sure we were happy.

It was the perfect way to enjoy Ha Long Bay without the crowds.

The host, Tom, was fantastic (as were all of the personnel), and we were one of only four couples on board, which provided for a nice private atmosphere. The meal was excellent, and this is a wonderful and meaningful experience to remember!
