Cam Thanh Coconut Village & Lantern Making Half Day

Your tour begins at 9:00 or 14:00, when your driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An. The journey starts with a visit to a lantern-making workshop, where local craftsmen with skillful hands will show you the traditional art of creating Hoi An’s iconic lanterns. Under their guidance, you will make your own brightly colored lantern, a special keepsake to bring home for your family.

Next, you will head to Cam Thanh Coconut Village, a peaceful area surrounded by lush palm groves and tranquil waterways. Here, you can enjoy a relaxing boat trip through the coconut forest, immersing yourself in the calm and natural beauty of the area. Along the way, you will have the chance to join traditional fishing activities, learning age-old techniques such as round-net and cast-net fishing, as well as catching crabs with the help of local experts.

You will also experience riding in a bamboo basket boat, unique to this region of Vietnam. With guidance from local fishermen, you can try paddling the boat yourself and enjoy fun activities like watching a lively basket boat performance.

After the activities, you will enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, where you will be served seven traditional Vietnamese dishes along with mineral water. Depending on your tour time, this will be either lunch or dinner.

At around 12:30 or 18:30, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Hoi An, concluding a half-day filled with cultural discovery and authentic local experiences.
