Discover the culture wonders, natural beauty and unique lifestyles of Inle Lake on this full day guided excursion. Embark on local boat and wind through stilted houses to hidden craft shops, temples, visit handicrafts village and witness the fishermen of Inle.

Full day: Inle Lake Sightseeing

In the morning, we pick you up from hotel. Welcome by our tour speaking guide. And, start morning visit one of the 5 Days rotation market (only on market day) and sightseeing for magical Inle Lake, which is located 1328 meters above sea level and 22 km long and 11 km wide. Highlights include the fisherman rowing in the one-legged style characteristic of Inle Lake boatmen and the gardens of grass and earth floating on the surface of this shallow lake used for growing vegetables. Besides the enjoyment of the scenery we can also visit the holiest religious site Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Silk Weaving Village o Inphawkhon, Burmese Cats House, Cheroot making and other cottage industries. Finally we will visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, a beautiful old teak wood building before transfer back to your staying hotel.

3 day Ha Long Bay experience

We organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat. Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her. The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available. The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.
