The best thing about this hike, apart from the amazing jungle views and the natural creeks that you can swim in, is the local people. Home to the Kreung people, they will happily make you bamboo soup or other local delicacies to enjoy by the campfire. Having this unique experience, and the fact that you will be contributing to sustainable travel, are reasons enough for us to add this baby to our hiking in Cambodia list.

A very pleasant excursion for nature lovers

If you have enough time in Sihanoukville, this tour is absolutely to do, beside beach relaxing.
Our tour started by a relaxing boat trip on the river, while watching the birds and scenery. Continuing by a trek into the jungle to reach the waterfall. The route is muddy but doable with your hike shoes.
Luckily, we had a very good guide, Mr Chhen. His fluent English and informative, points out plants and animals and insects.
If our picnic lunch could be improved, it would be a perfect excursion.
