Half day: Hoan Kiem Lake - Ancient House - Dong Xuan Market

Duration: about 4 hours (08:00 - 12:00 or 13:00 - 17:00)

Morning /Afternoon

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter area so you may start your adventure.

Begin our tour by taking a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake. We will take time to relax and witness the intriguing sights of the revered Turtle Tower located in the center of the lake.

Continue the journey to Ma May's ancient house to discover more about the history of ancient architecture and the living space of the ancient Hanoi people.

Optional: Take a cyclo tour around the city or enjoy the Water Puppet Show

Tip: If you take this tour at the weekend, don’t miss the chance to see the busy Dong Xuan Market (open from Friday night to Sunday night) and buy some lovely souvenirs for your friends or family members.

Experiences were good with the driver from the airport to the hotel and tour in Hanoi. The people I met were friendly and helpful.

Staff and activities were great. The food was very good and I was happy with my room. Only the wifi didn’t work always good. Everything fine.

A walk of time!

If you're visiting Hanoi, you should book this tour absolutely. We were quite fortunate to be able to arrange the trip right the day before. Janet, our tour guide, is a sweet and loving soul. Sh e took us on a tour of the old town and the French section. She had no issue answering all the questions, while making sure that we returned to our hotel safe after the trip.

My wife and I recently completed a 12-day tour of Vietnam, travelling from North to South, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Best Price Travel and the amazing Hang Moon. throughout the trip, Moon was with us every step of the way. Her communication was outstanding, staying in touch via WhatsApp and ensuring every part of our trip ran smoothly. The itinerary was well organised and balanced, covering all the highlights of Vietnam. Every detail, from airport transfers to hotel check-ins, tours, and internal transport was perfectly timed and stress free. The 4-star hotels we stayed in were fantastic, all including buffet breakfasts that exceeded our expectations. Lunches (when included) were set menus at reputable restaurants, giving us a real taste of Vietnamese cuisine. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, polite, and gave us plenty of time to explore and enjoy at our own pace. When our overnight Halong Bay cruise was unfortunately cut short due to bad weather, Best Price Travel quickly organised a private car to return us to our hotel without any delays. A refund was processed for the activities we missed was organised by our agent Moon. This was a hassle free experience, run by honest, professional people who really care about their clients.
