Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Customer

  • Cancellation before 120 days prior to the start of the cruise:30 % of the total rate
  • Between 120 and 61 days prior to the start of the cruise: 50 % of the total rate
  • Between 60 and 30 days prior to the start of the cruise: 70 % of the total rate
  • Less than 30 days prior to the start of the cruise: 90 % of the total rate
  • 15 days or less: 100% of the cruise price
Children Policy
  • Free of charge for children below 5 years old, in parents' room and using existing bedding. Baby cots are available.
  • Children above 5 ears must occupy a separate bed and pay full rate (Single or double occupancy).

Cruise Itineraries

Day 1Phnom Penh - Killing Fields - Genocide Museum

Morning

Arrive and check in for your Pandaw expedition at 11:00, followed by lunch onboard. Take this opportunity to settle in and familiarize yourself with the ship's amenities.

Afternoon

We embark on a journey to the Killing Fields and Genocide Museum, where we confront the harrowing history of the Khmer Rouge regime. Gain insights into Cambodia's chaotic past as we pay tribute to the victims and survivors of this dark chapter.

Evening

Dock overnight at Phnom Penh City Port, within easy reach of lively bars, restaurants, and nightlife. You are free to explore the city before returning to your floating hotel.

Day 2Kampong Tralach

Morning

Departing from the dock at Phnom Penh in the early morning, we set sail up the meandering channels of the Tonle Sap River towards Kampong Tralach. As we navigate through this picturesque waterway, immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the riverside scenery.

Afternoon

Upon reaching Kampong Tralach, we embark on an enchanting ox-cart ride through the charming river-side villages, bustling markets, and ancient temples. This immersive experience provides invaluable insights into the daily lives and cultural heritage of the communities along the river.

Evening

Enjoy cocktails around a fire pit in a small fishing village, where local residents gather to share stories and perform traditional dances before returning to the ship.

Day 3Oudong Meditations & Pak Russei Silk

Morning

The day adventure begins with a coach journey to the historical capital of Cambodia, Oudong, where ancient charm awaits.

Pause along the way at the Vipassana Dhura Meditation Center, explore its impressive Khmer architecture, and take part in a short meditation session.  

Rejoin the ship at Prek Kdam and continue cruising along the Mekong during lunch.

Afternoon

Disembark at Pak Russei, a small and remote riverside village. Explore on foot and visit local artisans weaving silk and making handmade noodles.

Evening

Before returning to the ship, enjoy a private Bokator performance—Cambodia’s ancient martial art—presented in the village.

Day 4Peam Chi Korng Pottery Village

Morning

Start the day with Tai Chi or a relaxing coffee on deck as the ship cruises at sunrise toward Peam Chi Korng, a hidden gem known for its traditional pottery.

After a short tuk-tuk ride from the riverbank, visit local workshops to see artisans at work, then explore the village and its lively fresh market.

Afternoon

Return to the ship and continue sailing along the Mekong River toward Steung Treng, enjoying the passing scenery along the way.

Evening

Spend your final evening onboard with entertainment from the crew, followed by a sumptuous farewell dinner prepared by the kitchen team.

Day 5Siem Reap Disembarkation

Morning

Following breakfast, disembark and transfer by coach from Steung Treng to Siem Reap (approximately 5 hours), passing through beautiful countryside. Arrival is expected between 12:00 and 13:00 at the FCC Angkor Hotel, beside the Royal Palace.

The ideal cruise and experience

We went on the Pandaw Mekong cruise, and it was a fantastic experience. Every day's cuisine, from breakfast to supper, was delicious. Freshly prepared smoothies in the morning were my fave. The four-course lunches were amazing. The crew on board was fantastic, and everything was done with a grin. The experience will stay with me forever, and if anyone is thinking about booking this trip, I strongly suggest it; you will not be disappointed.

The journey of a lifetime

I cannot suggest Pandaw enough. The staff were incredibly friendly and courteous; they knew our names within hours of boarding and gave everyone individual attention. When we returned from our excursions, they cleaned our shoes (even the flip-flops) and brought us moist flannels and cold drinks. The cuisine was of very good quality. The bed linens were changed every day, and the cabin was cleaned twice a day. We didn't want for anything and lived like royalty. I did not want to leave the boat.

Sailing through a fantasy on Pandaw

We went on Pandaw cruise in 1 week, the first from Saigon to Seam Reap on the Lower Mekong River. The ship's crew made the journey even more incredible. We never asked for anything because they knew what we wanted. They were most concerned about our safety during the expeditions, as I never climbed a staircase without a steadying hand on my elbow.

Pandaw Mekong River Cruise

My spouse and I just ended an 8-day vacation on the Pandaw RV Mekong. We booked with Best Price Travel online after discovering the firm through Tripadvisor recommendations. The trip was simply fantastic, and Neville and his crew were outstanding in every way. The service, food, and trips were all great. The yacht was stunning and immaculate. There were around 40 people on the ship, mostly from Europe, and everyone was a fascinating, seasoned global traveler. Everyone on the ship raved about the cuisine and service, including those who had sailed on several 5-star ships. The weather was beautiful: warm, bright, and mosquito-free. This trip was reasonably priced for what you get, and we would suggest it to anyone.
