Hola, vivo en Estados Unidos y planeo estar en Vietnam alrededor del 15 de mayo. Estoy interesado en Vietnam Like a Local - Tour privado de 2 semanas. Somos un grupo de 3 personas de 73, 69 y 21 años. Sé que este recorrido está sugerido para adultos jóvenes y parejas. Me gustaría conocer su opinión o posiblemente recomendarle otro recorrido. Tenemos flexibilidad para viajar más días si es necesario. ¿Cuál sería el costo por uno solo?
Hi! The Vietnam Like A Local itinerary still can fit with your group. However, on Day 2 and Day 11, there are motorbike tours. For safety for elders in your group, we can change them into walking tour/free day or any option that you want (surcharge might be applied due to your choices on activities).

We absolutely loved our time in Vietnam — it was such an incredible trip from start to finish. The people were so friendly and welcoming, the culture and history were rich and fascinating, the scenery was breathtaking, and don’t even get me started on the food — every meal was amazing!

Some of our favorite places were Hoi An and Hanoi. Each city had its own vibe, and we really enjoyed exploring both. We also did a Vespa tour in Hoi An and a motorcycle food tour in Ho Chi Minh City — both were such fun experiences and a great way to see the cities from a different angle. We'd definitely book with those companies again.
The full-day tour in Hanoi and our trip to Ninh Binh and Tam Coc were big highlights. Tam Coc, especially, was absolutely beautiful — peaceful boat rides through the rice fields and limestone mountains. And our two-night cruise in Ha Long Bay was the perfect amount of time to really take in the beauty and relax. We were glad we stayed longer than just one night. The visit to the Cu Chi tunnels was also super interesting — learning about the history there was eye-opening.
Looking back, we probably would’ve skipped the beach day in Hoi An. The beach wasn’t very clean, and we didn’t enjoy it as much as we’d hoped. The town itself, however, was lovely — we actually wish we had more time there instead. That was on us though — we had asked for some beach time, but now we know for next time!
One part we weren’t too thrilled with was the Mekong Delta tour we did on January 19. The drive there took about three hours, and it took even longer (four hours) to get back because of traffic and a bottleneck at the bridge — though we heard another bridge is being built, which should help. The area was interesting, but sadly the river was full of trash, which really took away from the experience. Not our guide’s fault at all — Peter was great — but overall, we wouldn’t recommend that particular tour.
Speaking of guides, we had a great experience with all of them:
Tom in Hanoi was hands down one of our favorites. He had such a fun personality, always laughing and making the group feel at ease — especially when we were crossing those wild Hanoi streets! He was clearly proud of his city and super knowledgeable. One of us got sick one day and he even brought back a bowl of pho — such a thoughtful gesture. 10/10 for Tom.
Jacquie in Hoi An was also wonderful. We only had one day with her and it ended up raining pretty heavily, so we had to cut the tour short, but she handled it all really well and made sure we still got to enjoy the town. 9/10.
Peter in Ho Chi Minh City was very attentive and kind. He guided us through some really interesting places and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves and learning something new. Another solid 9/10.
All in all, we had an amazing time in Vietnam and would absolutely recommend the trip — just with a few small changes based on what we learned along the way. We’re already dreaming of coming back someday! Menos
Todo fue maravilloso del viaje, pero quería mencionar que el conductor a Hue fue un poco hosco. Lo mencioné durante el viaje. Aparte de eso, la experiencia fue excelente.
Definitivamente recomendaré esto a mis amigos que estén interesados en viajar a Vietnam. Prefieren reservar sus propios hoteles,… MásTodo fue maravilloso del viaje, pero quería mencionar que el conductor a Hue fue un poco hosco. Lo mencioné durante el viaje. Definitivamente recomendaré esto a mis amigos que estén interesados en viajar a Vietnam. Prefieren reservar sus propios hoteles, pero tal vez puedan ayudarles con los arreglos de transporte. Les sugeriré que vayan directamente al aeropuerto después del crucero por la bahía de Halong para facilitar el viaje.
Además, aconsejaría omitir la excursión de un día a las cuevas. Había pedido que se incluyera, pero realmente no valió la pena el tiempo.
En una nota positiva, ¡todos los guías fueron fantásticos! Fueron amables, conocedores e hicieron que el viaje fuera especial.

El crucero es bueno, excepto que esperábamos que tuviera exploración de cuevas y pueblos. Pero solo tienen kayak y natación, un poco aburrido. Pero el personal es muy cálido, amable y servicial.
Estamos todos bien... nos encantó visitar su hermoso país y conocer a toda la gente amable y de buen corazón. Hoy regresamos a casa y desearíamos tener más tiempo. Esperamos poder planificar otro viaje aquí pronto. Queremos visitar Sapa, Dalat, Da Nang, Hoi An y muchos más lugares. Es maravilloso conocerlos y manténganse en contacto Menos
