United StatesMy daughter and I had a fantastic day exploring Hanoi with our wonderful guide, Long. He was incredibly kind, spoke excellent English, and shared a wealth of knowledge about the city’s history, culture, and landmarks.
We visited the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the Temple of Literature, and in the afternoon, we enjoyed the Water Puppet Show. At our request, Long even took us shopping and patiently helped us find what we were looking for. He also chose a great restaurant where we had a delicious Vietnamese lunch.
It was truly a fabulous day, and we were sad to say goodbye. I highly recommend having Long as your guide - he made our Hanoi experience unforgettable!

We stayed at the Palago Hotel, which was an excellent choice for our time in Hanoi. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located within walking distance of the local markets, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The combination of a comfortable stay at Palago Hotel and Mr. Tung's outstanding guidance made our visit to Hanoi a memorable part of our trip to Vietnam.
