Morning
Wake up to another beautiful morning on the river as your ship anchors near Kampong Luong, a lively hub of traditional craftsmanship and spiritual heritage. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting out to explore.
Your first stop is Kampong Luong, a fascinating Silver Smith Village where around 400 families dedicate their lives to working with silver, copper, and brass. As you stroll through the village, you’ll witness the artisans at work - shaping, hammering, and polishing intricate jewelry and decorative pieces by hand. Each creation tells a story of patience, tradition, and pride passed down through generations.
Continue to Wat Prang, the Royal Buddhist Temple, an elegant sanctuary deeply rooted in both Cambodia’s royal and spiritual heritage. Here, take a quiet moment to reflect on the king’s legacy and engage with the resident monks, who warmly share insights into their daily routines, rituals, and personal stories.
Back on board, enjoy a lighthearted Cambodian fashion show, where the crew models colorful local attire, giving you a closer look at the region’s cultural dress traditions - both fun and fascinating!
Afternoon
After lunch, the ship sails toward the confluence of the Tonle and Mekong Rivers, where the small yet historic village of Prek Bangkong awaits. Once a royal residence before the construction of Phnom Penh’s Royal Palace, the village is now renowned for its silk-weaving community.
Visit local workshops to see the entire silk-making process, from breeding silkworms to spinning, dyeing, and weaving shimmering threads into exquisite fabrics. These dedicated artisans carry on one of Cambodia’s oldest and most delicate traditions. The tour concludes with a visit to the heritage house of H.E. Sam-El, a former royal architect whose elegant residence reflects the grace of a bygone era.
Return to the ship and unwind as you sail upriver. Enjoy a sunset cocktail by the pool, followed by a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening cinema - the perfect end to another captivating day on the Mekong.

The trip was really great. We have no great idea about the trip but the Bestprice team found a way to arrange the tour for us. Our guide was great, she was very motivated to show us all the knowledge about the area. We had the best meal of our whole trip. Every stop was also worth the time. In total, we highly recommend this tour.
Many thanks for such a memorable experience!
