This 2-week family trip through Thailand and Vietnam is an easy-going mix of culture, nature, and hands-on experiences that work well for both kids and adults.
Start in Bangkok with visits to spots like the Maeklong Railway Market and Patom Organic Village, before heading to Vietnam for a blend of history and local life. Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, cruise around the Mekong Delta, and get creative at Bat Trang Ceramic Village. Up north, take it a bit slower with a scenic boat ride through Tam Coc. Wrap things up with an overnight cruise in Halong Bay - a real highlight for the whole family.
It’s a well-paced trip with a good balance of sightseeing and downtime, making it a solid choice for a relaxed and memorable family holiday.

Overall, a decent experience, but not every part lived up to the hype.
The famous sites like Wat Arun and the Temple of Literature were lovely, but some stops felt crowded and a bit rushed. I was also expecting the floating market to feel more lively than it actually did.
The cruise in Ha Long Bay saved the trip for me. That was easily the most memorable part.
This trip exceeded all our expectations. Exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels was a real highlight, and cruising through Ha Long Bay was the perfect way to relax. It felt like a wonderful introduction to both Thailand and Vietnam.
A good combination of well-known sights and smaller local experiences.
Hi Rosie, everything you arranged for us worked out really well, from the accommodation to the tours, and we were very happy with the overall experience. We can absolutely see why you were recommended to us, and we would be glad to pass that recommendation on to our friends. Thank you as well for the lunch — it was a thoughtful surprise.
Our kids loved Safari World Bangkok and the small rowing boat ride on Tan Phong Island. My husband and I enjoyed the cultural parts more, especially the visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the handicraft villages.
The pace was manageable most of the time, although travel days were naturally more tiring with children.
