Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly driver and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you have free time to take the afternoon to unwind and explore the vibrant nightlife of Hanoi, especially the lively Ta Hien Street, where you can enjoy local delicacies and sip on refreshing drinks.

This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and meet our expert guide for a safety briefing before starting your trip through Hanoi in a jeep. This exciting, family-friendly journey brings visitors a special way to explore the city, perfect for both adults and children alike.

Your first stop on the route will be the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a monumental site symbolizing the deep respect of the Vietnamese people for their beloved leader. Since its opening in 1975, it has become an iconic attraction for tourists worldwide.

Next, you will go see ancient Taoist and Buddhist temples such asTran Vu Temple and the Temple of Literature, each offering a glimpse into Hanoi’s spiritual and cultural history.

Continuing the adventure, we will pass through the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter, where you will get to see the busy streets and local markets before heading to the elegant French Quarter. Enjoy the beauty and fresh atmosphere at Hoan Kiem Lake, an ideal spot for a family stroll, and admire the majestic Hanoi Opera House as well.

The tour also takes us to the historic Long Bien Bridge, a striking reminder of the city’s French colonial past. Then, we will visit the peaceful suburbs around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake to experience the contrast between urban life and quieter village surroundings.

To end your day, you will enjoy a delicious selection of local dishes at authentic restaurants and food stalls. This is a day packed with history, culture, and flavors that will leave your family with nothing but satisfaction.

On the third day, we will begin with an early start. Between 08:00 - 08:30, a driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, and we will be driven to the port via the brand-new Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway.

The scenic drive will lead us to Halong Bay, where you will board the cruise. As we set foot in there, we will be welcomed with a delicious beverage and given a brief introduction to the cruise's features and safety procedures. 

Lunch will be served at a deluxe restaurant aboard. Here, we will indulge in a delicious meal while the ship sails past the spectacular karst rock formations, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in this natural wonder.

Afternoon

After that, you can choose to wind down with a soothing massage or pampering spa treatment to rejuvenate before the next schedule.

Coming to the afternoon, we will take a short but invigorating hike up 50 steps to reach the entrance of the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot).

While there, you will be in awe of the breathtaking views of Halong Bay and its fascinating natural flora. Inside it, you can also gaze upon one of the largest and most impressive caves in the bay, adorned with stunning stalagmites and stalactites.

When getting back on the cruise, you will be given the chance to join a Vietnamese culinary demonstration or learn the intricate art of fruit and vegetable carving.

As the evening draws near, it is time to sit down to a freshly prepared dinner, savoring local dishes while enjoying the serene surroundings.

Then, you can engage in some exciting nocturnal activities such as night squid fishing, board games, cards, or relaxing at the bar. Finally, the night concludes with a restful stay in your cabin.

Getting up early at 06:30 - 07:00 to witness the breathtaking sunrise from the sundeck, a view that surpasses anything seen from the shore.

A light breakfast with coffee and tea awaits you in the dining room, delivering a serene start to your morning. You can join a Tai Chi class first to build foundational strength and mindfulness while enjoying the beautiful bay.

The cruise will make a stop at Titop Island, a crescent-shaped gem renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and crystal-clear waters. Spend 1 - 2 hours here, ascending to the observation platform at the summit for a spectacular 360-degree view of the land.

Do not forget to capture incredible photos or take it easy with a swim and some relaxing moments on the pristine beach.

The moment the morning progresses, we will enjoy a yummy brunch onboard. While the cruise moves its way back to the cruise port, you can pack your belongings or bask in the scenery one last time on the sundeck.

Around 12:00, the cruise schedule comes to a close in the port. Relax as you wait for your transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang.

When you arrive in Da Nang, a seamless ride will bring you to your hotel in Hoi An, where you will take time for the night and prepare for more adventures ahead.

Today is all about farming and family fun! At 08:00, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel to set the day off with a bicycle ride to Cam Thanh Village, a green oasis on the outskirts of Hoi An ancient town.

On arrival at the location, a friendly local host will warmly greet us and introduce us to the fascinating world of rice farming. Together with your family, you will experience the joy of working the fields, including plowing and raking the soil with the help of water buffalo, transplanting young rice shoots, and learning the traditional methods of grinding and pounding rice.

If you are a brave person, you can try hopping on a water buffalo for a truly one-of-a-kind ride and take as many photos as possible to share with loved ones once back in your country.

Our trip keeps going as we visit a nearby fishing village where professional fishermen will guide us in their craft. Try casting a net and catching fish, an exciting activity in which kids and parents will find themselves smiling and laughing a lot.

The highlight of the morning is a basket boat trip through the lush coconut jungle, a magical experience in nature. Before we finish the trip, we will fill up our bellies with a hearty and tasty lunch at a local home, where you can get a sense of the warmth of Vietnamese hospitality.

Following an exhilarating morning, we will return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest. Take the afternoon to relax and recharge, reflecting on the memorable experiences shared with your family during this active and educational day.

The following day goes on an excursion to Ba Na Hills. At07:45 - 08:00, we will come to pick you up from your hotel in Da Nang and then make our way to the breathtaking Ba Na Hills.

The first destination of the route is the Suoi Mo Cable Car Station, where you will take on a cable car and glide over lush mountain landscapes, heading towards Marseille Station.

As soon as you get off Marseille Station, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the famous Golden Bridge, a striking pedestrian bridge held aloft by two massive stone hands. It is considered one of the best places to take in panoramic views of the surrounding hills and forests and take photos to preserve memories with your family.

After spending time here, we will head to Jardin D’Amour, a garden of love filled with thousands of colorful flowers, fountains, and varying sculptures, where you can stroll and enjoy the romantic atmosphere.

Then, our next activity on Day 6 is to find inner peace at Linh Ung Pagoda, home to an awe-inspiring statue of the Goddess of Mercy, a highlight of any Ba Na Hills experience.

After that, it is time to refuel with a delightful lunch at a local Vietnamese buffet restaurant featuring over 70 authentic culinary items. Try the original taste while enjoying a meal that caters to every age, including options for kids.

Another fascinating location to call on in the afternoon is Fantasy Park, an amusement paradise full of rides, games, and attractions that offer excitement for all tastes. Whether your family loves thrilling rides or more relaxed activities, there will always be something to get involved in at this park.

Before concluding everything, we take one more step to ascend to King Peak, standing tall at an altitude of 1,487 meters, and behold the breathtaking views of Ba Na Hills from the summit. Return via the cable car to the Gateway, where our guide will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel.

NOTE: The ticket includes round-trip cable car rides as well as access to key attractions such as the Golden Bridge, Fantasy Park, and Moon Castle (apart from the wax museum, Debay wine cellar, and several games).

The seventh day is complete with a cozy overnight stay in Hoi An, where the serene atmosphere of this town will leave everyone feeling refreshed and inspired.

After breakfast, we will head to the airport for our flight to Siem Reap, the gateway to the famous Angkor temples. Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, we will be moved to our hotel.

Once you have checked in, you can enjoy the day as you wish. Families can choose to relax at the hotel, giving children some time to rest after a long trip or leave to get to know the major tourism hub of Cambodia, Siem Reap. With its lively streets, busy local markets, and unique cultural atmosphere, this city has stuff for everyone, no matter young or old.

Our day begins in the morning with an exciting exploration of the main Angkor sites by remok (tuk-tuk).

First, we will reach the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. This historical wonder impresses with its grand gates and serene atmosphere. At the city’s center lies the Bayon Temple, a 12th-century masterpiece famous for its 39 towering spires adorned with enigmatic faces gazing outward toward the empire’s distant provinces.

Continuing our discovery, we will see the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, both celebrated for their intricate bas-reliefs that tell stories of Khmer legends and royal ceremonies.

Have your time navigating the former Royal Palace grounds, uncovering hidden gems and lesser-known temples that present a quieter, more intimate experience.

Our journey then takes us to Ta Prohm, famously featured in the Tomb Raider movie, with its crumbling ruins embraced by giant tree roots. Alternatively, you can visit Preah Khan, a vast temple complex in a similarly untouched state, providing a sense of quiet exploration.

After this immersive morning, we will return to Siem Reap for a quick lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

Our adventure shifts to the countryside, where a private vehicle takes us to rarely-traveled paths for a glimpse into Cambodia’s attractive rural points.

We will begin with a visit to a local market, where you can experience daily life, interact with locals, and learn basic Khmer phrases with the help of your guide. This is an engaging activity for families, especially children who like the idea of hands-on experiences.

From here, we will next head to Phnom Bok Mountain, where a climb of 635 steps rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. At the top, it is best to see a ruined temple close by before descending back to savor a fresh coconut.

On our way leaving the mountain, we can also observe the rhythms of rural life and lush rice paddies over the glass of the window.

The last stop is at an evening street market and fairground for some local relaxation and fun. At the end of the day, it is time to come back to where we stayed and take a long rest.

Today, we will have a fantastic tour to learn about life in a typical Cambodian village. Not only can we meet friendly locals, but we can also discover traditional village customs and cultures.

In the morning, there will be a local guide picking us up early for a 25-minute drive to TaBrak Village.

When we come, we will enjoy a packed Western breakfast provided by the hotel and share this meal with a local family. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about their active village lives.

After that, it is time to climb on an ox cart for a 30-minute ride to a local market. Here, we can take a brief but fascinating stroll to acquaint ourselves with Cambodian produce and daily trading activities.

Following this, we will have a 1 km walk through the picturesque countryside, surrounded by paddy fields and sugar palm trees, which are very common in Cambodia.

Along the way, there are many chances to interact with villagers by engaging in seasonal activities like rice planting, weaving thatch roofs, or making fish traps. The experience varies depending on the time of year, ensuring a fresh and authentic perspective.

The morning itinerary ends at a local pagoda, where your family will receive a special water blessing from Buddhist monks - a memorable moment of peace and good fortune.

Afternoon

The afternoon brings more discoveries as we make a stop at the 9th-century Bakong Temple, an integral part of the Roluos group and a former center of Khmer civilization.

Next, a short boat trip brings us to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and a designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It will be a pity if we miss it since it introduces us to life on the lake in a more visual way.

Continue reaching Kampong Phluk; it is a less touristy village suitable for diving deep into the lives of local fishermen and their families amid the flooded mangrove forest. We will board a local boat to admire submerged stilt houses, floating houses, and impressive flooded forests, getting a good feel for life on the water.

As part of the adventure, we will get to have a taste of a family meal prepared in one of the floating houses once we finish discovering all.

NOTE: Due to low water levels during the dry season, boat trips are only possible from June to March. However, an alternative floating village at Chong Kneas can be arranged instead.

Before moving to the airport and taking a flight to our next destination, Ho Chi Minh City, we will soak in the moments of Siem Reap one last chance.

By the time you get off the plane, you will be taken to our hotel. After check-in, you can take the time to experience the dynamic nightlife this city has to offer. A popular choice for families with kids is Nguyen Hue Walking Street - a lively atmosphere, variety of food vendors, and occasional cultural events.

The tour begins with a pick-up by Mekong Ecolodge boat at the Cai Be tourist pier. The first place for today is Com Candy Craft Village, where travelers can catch a glimpse of the making process of candy nuggets and try freshly baked sweet nuggets.

Later, we leave for a local bee farm. It will be a good time to have an insight into how locals manufacture natural honey from bees and enjoy a cup of honey tea.

Get on a boat to Cu Lao Tan Phong (Tan Phong Island), a haven of lovely fruit gardens. Browsing among trees laden with tropical delights like durian, longan, jackfruit, and plum, you can bask in the lush surroundings.

Moreover, at a local house, you will have the chance to take part in the garden folk music exchange with talented local artists, all while enjoying clean fruit and a cup of tea from the host.

After saying goodbye to the local house, our morning discovery goes on with a boat trip through a beautiful small canal around Tan Phong Island.

This journey will lead us directly to Mekong Ecolodge, where cooking and lunch activities await. For lunch, you get to try the famous mouth-watering cuisine of the Mekong Delta region.

Afternoon

Visitors can have a relaxing stroll around the Mekong Ecolodge campus to admire the attractive beauty of fruit and flower gardens. Children will love picking fruits like apples, strawberries, and cherries directly from the trees and tasting their natural sweetness.

At about 13:00, the boat will take guests back to the Cai Be tourist pier, marking the end of an unforgettable day.
