Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our guide and driver will be waiting to take you to the center of Hanoi. The first scenes of the bustling traffic and local life will warmly welcome you to Vietnam.

After checking in, you may choose to rest after the long flight or take a walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, formerly known as “Hanoi and its 36 streets,” where history, traditional architecture, and local flavors blend together.

Today, you will discover the historical and cultural heart of Hanoi through two itinerary options that highlight the richness of the Vietnamese capital. You can choose between an iconic tour of national landmarks or a deeper immersion into the country’s ethnic diversity.

Option 1:

The first option takes you to the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of Vietnam’s founding father. Here, you will admire the solemnity of the mausoleum, the simple stilt house where he once lived, and the gardens surrounding the former Presidential Palace.

Afterwards, visit the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, an architectural symbol that reflects Buddhist spirituality and the thousand-year history of Hanoi.

Option 2: 

Alternatively, you may visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which displays authentic collections and reconstructions of the country’s 54 ethnic groups. Designed and developed by Vietnamese and French experts, this museum highlights Vietnam’s cultural diversity and pays tribute to its patriotic history.

You will also visit the majestic Temple of Literature, dedicated to Vietnam’s feudal education and ancestral wisdom. Stroll through its peaceful gardens and pavilions, which reflect the nation’s deep respect for knowledge and learning.

Later, explore the cultural landmarks surrounding the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake, including Turtle Tower and Ngoc Son Temple, while uncovering the legends and traditions of the Old Quarter.

To end the day, enjoy a unique show at the Water Puppet Theater, an ancient art form from the Red River Delta that combines music, storytelling, and tradition in a magical setting.

Morning

After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a scenic drive to the Mai Chau Valley, following a charming route that winds through lush rice paddies, sugarcane fields, and small ethnic villages.

Along the way, stop at Thung Khe Pass — also known as White Stone Pass — for sweeping views over the vast, green expanse of the valley below. Arrive in Mai Chau around midday and check in your accommodation.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, enjoy a 2–3 hour hike or bike ride through the surrounding mountains and verdant countryside. Pass by traditional stilt houses that reflect the distinctive cultural identity of the White Thai people of Mai Chau.

Along the way, meet local villagers, observe their daily activities, and gain insight into their way of life — from farming practices to traditional crafts. This intimate encounter offers a genuine connection to the rhythms of rural Vietnam.

After breakfast, depart for Ninh Binh, a province often referred to as “Halong Bay on land” thanks to its striking landscape of karst peaks rising dramatically above lush rice fields and calm rivers. It’s a perfect place to reconnect with nature and experience the charm of rural Vietnam.

Your first stop will be in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries. Visit the historic temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le kings, where intricate stone and wood carvings offer a glimpse into Vietnam’s imperial past.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, board a traditional sampan for a peaceful journey along the Ngo Dong River.

As you glide past golden rice paddies and soaring limestone cliffs, you’ll pass through the three mystical caves of Tam Coc - an unforgettable experience surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

End the day with a relaxing countryside bike ride and visit Bich Dong Pagoda, a serene complex nestled within a cave and framed by tranquil scenery. It’s the perfect spot for reflection and quiet moments in nature.

Morning

After breakfast, you will set off for the iconic Ha Long Bay, a vast natural wonder of islands and rocky formations rising from emerald-green waters, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This spectacular scenery marks the beginning of an unforgettable adventure.

Around midday, you will board a comfortable cruise heading towards the less-crowded Bai Tu Long Bay, offering peace and breathtaking views. Enjoy a welcome drink and a fresh seafood lunch as the boat glides forward.

Afternoon

Next, you will take a small boat to reach Cap La Island, where you can paddle a kayak between impressive cliffs and crystal-clear waters. There will be time to swim and relax on a white sandy beach, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the bay.

Back on the cruise, unwind on the sundeck while watching the sunset, then savor a dinner on board featuring delicious local dishes. End the day with free time to enjoy the serene atmosphere of the boat.

Morning

Start your morning with a peaceful Tai Chi session on the cruise’s sun deck, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Afterward, enjoy a leisurely breakfast as the boat sails toward Hon Co Island, where you’ll explore the stunning Thien Canh Son cave and have the chance to swim in its crystal-clear waters.

The cruise then continues through the quieter, less-traveled corners of Bai Tu Long Bay, offering you the perfect setting to soak in the surreal landscapes and pristine nature.

In the afternoon, join a hands-on Vietnamese cooking demonstration onboard, learning to make Nem Cuon (fresh spring rolls) and savoring the delicious results. After a light brunch, the boat returns to the harbor.

From there, you’ll be transferred by private car back to Hanoi to catch your flight to Hue, Vietnam’s ancient imperial capital. Upon arrival, a driver will take you to your hotel, where you can relax and prepare for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, you’ll explore the majestic Imperial Citadel, once home to the 13 Nguyen emperors. Marvel at historic landmarks like the Ngo Mon Gate (Southern Gate), the Thai Hoa Palace, and the Imperial Garden—each reflecting Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage and architectural splendor.

Next, visit the serene Thien Mu Pagoda, famous for its iconic tower overlooking the Perfume River, a peaceful place steeped in spirituality.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, you’ll tour the tranquil tomb of King Tu Duc, surrounded by lush gardens and reflective lakes. Before returning, stop by a local incense village to learn about this cherished traditional craft.

End your day at the bustling Dong Ba Market, where you can soak up everyday life and browse unique crafts such as the iconic conical hats adorned with poetic inscriptions.

After breakfast, you’ll set off for Hoi An, crossing the spectacular Hai Van Pass, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and mountains. Along the way, you’ll stop to admire Lang Co Beach, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful stretches of sand.

Upon arrival in Da Nang, you can choose to join an optional tour to explore the iconic Golden Bridge, suspended more than 1,400 meters above sea level and gracefully supported by two giant stone hands emerging from the hillside. This architectural wonder offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests. (Best visited from March to September for clear skies; other months may bring clouds or rain.)

You’ll continue to Hoi An, a historic gem and UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the magical atmosphere and ancient streets invite you to lose yourself in its timeless charm.

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a leisurely stroll through the heart of Hoi An’s Old Town, where narrow lanes are lined with charming centuries-old houses — a living reminder of the city’s vibrant history as a hub of international trade.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, Hoi An — once known as Faifo — is celebrated for its remarkably preserved architecture and unique blend of cultural influences.

During your guided exploration, visit some of the town’s most iconic landmarks, including the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Hall, Ancient House, and the Handicraft Workshop, where traditional skills are still practiced today.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. Wander the lantern-lit streets, browse local boutiques, sip coffee by the river, or simply soak up the timeless charm of this ancient trading port.

After breakfast at the hotel, set off on a scenic cycling adventure through the tranquil Vietnamese countryside, far from the city’s bustle, traffic, and well-trodden tourist routes. Pedal along quiet, zigzagging paths and through vast stretches of green rice paddies, passing sleepy villages on your way to the fishing village of Van Lang and the lush Bay Mau coconut forest.

Covering around seven hectares, Bay Mau is a serene landscape of mangroves, canals, and coconut-thatched houses. During the resistance wars against French colonial forces and later the Americans, this area served as a revolutionary base. Today, it charms visitors with its peaceful beauty and rich history.

Along the route, stop at local highlights including Ba Le Market, rice fields, a village cemetery, a local school,.... — each offering a glimpse into daily rural life.

Upon arriving at the village, you’ll be warmly welcomed into a local home, where three generations live under one roof. Enjoy a cup of green tea before taking a leisurely walk through the village.

Next, join local fishermen to learn traditional fishing techniques, then explore the coconut groves by coracle (thung chai) — round bamboo basket boats unique to the region.

Back at the family home, relax with a herbal foot massage, followed by a hands-on cooking session. Prepare and savor a delicious meal featuring banh xeo (crispy pancakes), Hoi An spring rolls, tam huu (beef, shrimp, and herbs wrapped in shallot leaves), grilled fish in guise leaves, and other local favorites.

After lunch, return to your hotel by electric car. The rest of the day is free for you to continue exploring the charming streets of Hoi An at your own pace.

Spend the day soaking in the peaceful charm of Hoi An at your leisure. Wander through lantern-lit alleys, browse local handicraft shops, or relax in riverside cafés.

If you're looking to unwind by the sea, head to An Bang Beach, just 4 km from the town center. With its soft white sand and calm blue waters, it's the perfect escape—especially from March to September.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.

As one of Vietnam’s largest and most dynamic cities, Ho Chi Minh City offers a striking contrast of past and present, with futuristic skyscrapers, neon-lit streets, and echoes of its colonial heritage. Upon arrival, your driver and guide will escort you to the city center to begin your exploration.

Your first stop is Cho Lon, the city’s vibrant Chinatown, where you’ll visit the bustling Binh Tay Market and the ornate Thien Hau Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. This lively district offers a fascinating blend of commerce, culture, and history.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, visit the historic Reunification Palace, once the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam and the site marking the end of the Vietnam War on April 30, 1975.

Continue your journey with a leisurely walk past the city’s colonial landmarks, including the elegant Saigon Central Post Office and the Municipal Theatre (viewed from the outside), each reflecting the French architectural influence that shaped the city for nearly a century.

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary underground network stretching over 250 kilometers. This intricate system includes polyclinics, dormitories, meeting rooms, kitchens, and storage facilities, all hidden beneath the earth’s surface.

As you explore this historic site, you’ll gain a deep appreciation for the courage, ingenuity, and resilience of the Vietnamese soldiers and civilians during their struggle for national liberation against American forces.

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive back to Ho Chi Minh City along peaceful country roads, taking in views of rural life.

After breakfast, head to Ben Tre, the gateway to the Mekong Delta—Vietnam’s rice bowl. Board a private boat to cruise along scenic canals, observing the daily life of local people and the lush natural surroundings.

Your first stop is a coconut processing workshop, where you’ll see how every part of the coconut is put to use — from sweet treats to household items.

While here, enjoy the melodic sounds of Don Ca Tai Tu, a traditional southern music style recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Savor freshly made coconut sweets paired with fragrant honey tea before continuing your journey.

Glide along the Cai Son River to Nhon Thanh Village, where families have been weaving colorful reed mats for generations. Sample fresh tropical fruits, then travel by bicycle or tuk-tuk through lush coconut groves, fruit orchards, and vegetable gardens.

A peaceful ten-minute rowboat ride through shaded coconut waterways offers the perfect finale to your Delta experience. Disembark and continue your journey to Can Tho, arriving in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, embark on a private boat cruise along the Mekong River to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market—one of the most authentic and vibrant markets in southern Vietnam.

Enjoy the colorful scene of boats brimming with fresh produce and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of waterborne trade.

The journey continues to a tropical fruit orchard, where you can sample fresh, juicy fruits. Then, visit a traditional Hu Tieu noodle workshop to see how this iconic local dish is made—a specialty often sold in the floating market.

Back on land, explore Can Tho City and visit the historic Binh Thuy Ancient House, a beautifully preserved residence blending French architecture with traditional Vietnamese elements like intricate wooden carvings.

In the late afternoon, return to Ho Chi Minh City for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time to explore Ho Chi Minh City at your leisure. Later, you’ll be transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward flight.
