Upon reaching the Cu Chi Tunnels, step back in time to witness a remarkable historical site that bears witness to the ingenuity and resilience of the Vietnamese people during the Vietnam War. These intricate tunnels, meticulously dug in 1948, served as crucial hideouts for the Viet Cong guerrillas, providing shelter and protection from combatant forces.

Then, you will have the unique opportunity to meet a Viet Cong soldier and gain invaluable insights into the arduous living conditions endured by the guerrilla fighters during those turbulent times.

After your insightful visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, have a light lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

NOTE:  Notre Dame Cathedral is anticipated to be under restoration until the year 2027. Therefore, unfortunately, tourists cannot relish the panorama view of the cathedral.

Start a private boat trip to the Mekong Delta, which owns the world's most complicated river and canal system.

At your first stop, let’s take in the sights of the fascinating coconut production and processing. As part of this delightful experience, treat yourself to the pure pleasure of sipping on freshly extracted coconut juice. 

After that, you will go on a tricycle ride weaving through the charming narrow village roads to witness the fascinating process of crafting the region's most popular breakfast - rice noodles.

After that, you will take a contemplative walk through the tranquil and shady village roads to Mr. Sau Tuong’s house, a courageous former soldier who once valiantly fought against the notorious Khmer Rouge - the group responsible for the devastating Cambodian genocide.

Start your morning with a smooth transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital. As you take off, enjoy stunning aerial views of the country’s lush green landscapes and winding rivers.

Upon arrival, feel the slower pace and tranquil charm of Hue - a city steeped in history and culture. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the peaceful streets, ancient pagodas, and riverside scenery at your own pace.

At 8:00, our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the boat landing for a leisure boat trip along the Perfume River to visit the towering Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous Vietnamese landmarks with a long history through upheavals of wars and dynasties. 

After that, take a short drive to visit the Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb, where you can gain a deeper understanding of the royal’s life and architecture.

It’s lunchtime! Let’s have a delightful lunch outside of town and enjoy classic Hue cuisine at a restaurant in a beautiful garden setting.

Afternoon

Return to the city center to visit Imperial Citadel - a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Forbidden Purple City. If the time and weather are perfect, you could admire the glorious and mesmerizing sunset on the Perfume River.

Drive back to the hotel and say "goodbye" to our guide.

Get up early for your departure from Hue to Hoi An. Along the way, you will pass through Da Nang, enjoying the changing scenery of central Vietnam during the journey.

Upon arriving in Hoi An, check in at your hotel, and get ready to explore the charming Hoi An ancient town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that promises to enchant you with its rich history and architectural treasures.

After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.

At around 9:00, your friendly local guide will meet you in Hoi An’s Old Town and take you to the peaceful Cam Thanh Coconut Village.

Upon arrival, meet the warm and welcoming locals and learn about their daily lives in this charming riverside community. Then, hop aboard a traditional bamboo basket boat and gently glide through the lush green coconut palm forest - a tranquil escape surrounded by nature.

As you drift along the waterways, discover the fascinating history of Cam Thanh Village and join the locals for some hands-on fun: try your luck at casting fishing nets, paddling a round basket boat, or even joining a basket boat race!

Continue to stop by and see the unique One Pillar Pagoda, erected on a single wooden pole. It is the pinnacle architectural masterpiece, filled with national cultural quintessence through the arts of design, sculpture, woodcarving, and painting.

Explore the Vietnam First University, also called the Temple of Literature, and take pictures there. During the Ly dynasty, this temple was a symbol of Confucius. It is the birthplace of many outstanding individuals in Vietnam across many generations and a testament to the history of Hanoi's capital.

After beginning your day with a delightful breakfast, take a scenic drive to Halong Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent natural beauty.

Indulge in the breathtaking scenery of hundreds of stunning limestone karsts that rise majestically from the sea.

Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Take some time to relax or explore the peaceful streets lined with golden temples and French colonial architecture at your own pace.

The rest of the day is free for you to unwind and soak in the serene charm of this UNESCO World Heritage city.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family. The palace offers fascinating insights into the history and culture of Laos.

Next, embark on a leisurely cruise upstream along the Mekong River, where you can take in the serene countryside views and feel the calm rhythm of river life. Your destination is the mystical Pak Ou Caves -two sacred caverns filled with thousands of golden Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes, left behind by devoted pilgrims over centuries.

On the way back, stop at Ban Xanghai Village, known for its traditional rice wine production.

Returning to the city, visit Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, one of Luang Prabang’s most beautiful temples. Admire its graceful two-tiered roof and intricate mosaics, including the stunning “Tree of Life” glass mural that decorates the rear wall.

If time allows, drive to Ban Xangkhong, a Thai Lue village celebrated for its traditional weaving and handmade crafts, and visit nearby Ban Xienglek, where locals skillfully create traditional Saa paper.

You can either head to the nearby village, where you can join the locals for a friendly game of petanque.

As the day winds down, stop at Wat Prabath to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Mekong River-the perfect spot to capture the last golden light of the day.

End your day at Luang Prabang’s Night Market, where vibrant stalls overflow with handmade textiles and crafts by local artisans and hill tribe communities.

Rise early this morning to take part in one of Laos’ most sacred and time-honored traditions - the daily morning alms giving. Dating back to the 14th century, this serene ritual sees over 200 Buddhist monks walking barefoot through the streets to collect offerings from the faithful. Witnessing this peaceful ceremony offers a truly authentic glimpse into the spiritual heart of Luang Prabang.

Afterward, visit the bustling morning market near the former Royal Palace, where locals gather to trade everything from fresh produce to fish and handmade goods. Then, return to your hotel for breakfast before setting out to explore more of the city.

Next, climb the 329 steps to the summit of Phousi Hill, where you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic view of Luang Prabang’s old quarter and the majestic Mekong River winding below.

If time allows, stop by the UXO Visitor Center (closed on weekends) to learn about the country’s Secret War history and the ongoing efforts to clear unexploded ordnance - a sobering yet important experience.

Continue your journey to the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfall, the largest in the Luang Prabang region. Cascading through three tiers into crystal-clear turquoise pools, this natural wonder invites you to relax, swim, or simply soak in its serene beauty. For those seeking tranquility, take a walk to Ban Thapene Village, where hidden waterfalls offer a quieter, less-visited escape.

Nearby, you can visit the Bear Rescue Center, home to dozens of rescued Asiatic black bears, cared for after being saved from poachers and wildlife traffickers.

On your return to Luang Prabang, stop at Ock Pop Tok Living Craft Center, a beautiful riverside workshop where local artisans weave, dye, and create exquisite fabrics using traditional techniques.

Enjoy your final morning in Luang Prabang at leisure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to take a last stroll through the charming streets, pick up a few souvenirs, or simply relax at your hotel.
