Hanoi was another favorite because it was so lively and easy to explore on foot, with great food and shopping everywhere. Ha Long Bay was perfect for relaxing, while Angkor Wat was incredible for its history and architecture. The floating market tour in Chau Doc was also very enjoyable.
Most of the guides were excellent throughout the trip. Tom in Hanoi especially went above and beyond for our group and added extra experiences like Train Street and the prison museum when time allowed. The guides in Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap, and Phnom Penh were all friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
The hotels were generally very good, especially the stays in Hanoi and Siem Reap. The only part I didn’t really enjoy was the boat transfer from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh, which felt too crowded and long, flying would probably have been a better option. Less
My wife and I had wanted to visit Vietnam for a long time, and after looking through different tour companies, we came across BestPrice Travel. Just to avoid confusion for other travellers, this is the Vietnamese company BestPriceTravel.com, not the Australian BestPriceTravel.com.au.

We were assisted by Rosie Nhung, who was wonderful throughout the planning process. She helped organise our 17-day trip through Vietnam and Cambodia, and even arranged a couple of extra days for us in Hanoi. The itinerary felt flexible and well thought out.
The tour itself was fantastic. We visited many beautiful places and had very good guides and drivers during the trip. Transport was comfortable, and the 3-star hotels we selected were spacious and in convenient locations close to restaurants and nightlife. Some hotels had a few small maintenance issues, but overall we were very happy with them.
One experience that really stayed with me was visiting the war museum in Ho Chi Minh City. It was emotional, but absolutely worth seeing. We also found the people in both Vietnam and Cambodia incredibly welcoming and friendly.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend BestPrice Travel and Rosie Nhung to anyone considering a trip to this region. Less

The local guides were friendly, always on time, and shared a lot of interesting information about the places we visited. Sometimes it was a bit hard to catch everything due to accents, but overall they did a great job.
We liked that most of the tours felt quite personal, as the group sizes were small and often just the two of us. The meals included were good and more than enough. The hotels were generally comfortable, in good locations, and had great breakfasts, although a couple of rooms didn’t have proper outside windows, which we would have preferred.
One thing to note is that the pace can feel a bit fast, especially if you’re not used to guided tours. Some activities, like trekking in Sapa or walking up and down stairs at certain sites, were a bit tiring for us. That said, this can probably be adjusted if you request a slower itinerary in advance.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable trip and learned a lot about both countries. We would definitely recommend Janet and BestPrice Travel, particularly for those visiting Vietnam and Cambodia for the first time. Less
