Myanmar Adventure Tour 14 days

Warmly welcome to Myanmar. Upon your arrival in Yangon International Airport, your representative will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel in the city center.

In the late afternoon, we visit Shwedagon Pagoda - which enshrines strands of Buddha's hair and other holy relics. Overnight at hotel.

Have breakfast at hotel. Free time until driver picks up at lobby and transfer to Yangon airport for flight to Heho.

Upon arrival, driver picks up at airport then take a short drive onto Nyang Shwe, the main Inle Lake Town. We will be staying on the dry land next to the lake rather than on it. The rest of day is free at your leisure. You can cycle around to explore Inle on your own.

Have breakfast at your hotel. Tour guide picks up you from hotel then start tour. We trek to Red Mountain Winery, a round trip from Inle Horse Club. We will join on a two hours excursion to the local Red Mountain Winery, where you will pass through fields full of dragon fruit, sugar cane, sunflowers in the season and Pagoda on the hill top monastery. On the way, we visit Pleasant Garden Shan traditional House where you can relax in plantation farm. This 45 minutes horse ride to the winery provides amazing scenic views over the Inle Lake. You can spend 45 minutes at Red Mountain vineyards, where you can indulge in local food and a spectacular view from their restaurant. Wine tasting is on offer for those who would like to try Myanmar Wine. From the winery we then have a thirty-minute ride back to the horse club through the local plantations. After that, tour guide will take you back to hotel.

After breakfast, we will drive to Shan Hills with a cycling trip along the lake. It’s a great chance to enjoy tranquil atmosphere of local villages, interact with local people perhaps join a rotating market. We’ll pack up the bikes and drive 2 hours to Kalaw, a former British Hill Station and home to an astounding mix of people, from descendants of Gurkha soldiers to Bangladeshi immigrants, ethnic Pao O and Burmese. We explore the market on foot and then if you wish, jump back on the bikes for a pedal around the town to see some of the remaining British influenced buildings

After breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel and start Kalaw trekking with beautiful view of rice terraces in the valley surrounded by pine forest. We walk through pine forest along the way to Pa-O village and meet with local people working hard in the fields of garlic and rice harvest. We see amazing view of the highest mountain in the area with several village at the bottom. Then, we visit Pan Lone Village of Pa-O tribes of Mongolian origin women wears traditional costumes of indigo color dresses with bright red colored head scuff. We can learn about their interesting culture and traditions. Visit a family home and have tea together. We continue our journey for an hour to Sha-Pin Village of Danu tribes. Along the way, we pass through thick pine forest with great views and visit a forest monastery. Enjoy our lunch cooked by our chef and have a rest for a while. Then, we visit the village of Danu tribes at the top of the mountain with bird’s eye view from there and continue trekking for 2.5 hours with the view of vast valley filled with rice terraces and small villages. After that, we come back to hotel.

After breakfast, you will take the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, driver welcomes you at Mandalay airport then take you to hotel to check in. Please kindly note that the hotel room will be ready at 14:00 hrs. The early check-in will be guaranteed with a surcharge

After breakfast at hotel, we take a cycling trip to the outskirt of Mandalay to enjoy tranquil atmosphere and refresh our mind. Here, we can indulge ourselves in the peaceful sceneries, which are centered around the cycle of the farming seasons and traditional life. In the dry season, while the land lays fallow, the villagers dedicate their time to traditional crafts such as making robes for monks, snacks to sell in the market or other skills that have been passed down to them. After lunch, we will come back to hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the pool or explore on your own

Today, we will cycle to the back trails of the Mandalay region this morning. We pass by ruined pagodas dating back to the heyday of Amarapura and we discover the Muslim enclave that is home to the descendants of Mayor U Bein who built the longest teakwood bridge in the world. We will have lunch here before driving to Myingyan.

After brekfast, we will drive to Mount Popa. Here, we will cycle through the villages surrounding Mount Popa. You will have time to take photos and enjoy the natural beauty. Then, we are back into the vehicle for the drive up to volcanic Mount Popa, home of the 37 Nat. We will stay at the Mount Popa Resort with a clear, fresh pool and a view of the hill-top temple. The rest of day is free at leisure

Today, we will transfer to Bagan. Here, we will cycle through the villages of the dry zone area. We encounter palm sugar production and various other food and craft production as we pedal the sandy trails into Bagan proper with its beautiful panorama of the pagoda speckled plain.

In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel for visit one of Asia’s most popular archeological destinations.  We start to visit colorful Nyaung U market, and some of Bagan most famous pagodas and temples, including Shwezigon Pagoda, even King Anawyahta built first pagoda in Bagan in the 11^th century but the most beautiful pagoda among 2200 pagodas in Bagan. Then, we visit Htilominlo Temple and Gubaukgyi (Wet Kyi Inn) Temple, it is a 13^th century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of sconces from the Jataka.

In the afternoon, we continue to visit Lacquer ware home cottage, to study how to create the traditional method of generation by generation. After that, we explore more pagodas around Bagan, Ananda Temple, the most finest one in Bagan and famous of masterpiece of wooden standing Buddha images of 12^th century.  And continue to see the highest Thetbyinnyu Temple, the most massive Dhamayangyi Temple, famous of its interlocking mortar thickest brickwork. Late afternoon, relax and enjoy sunset in Bagan with beautiful scenery. At the end of tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Today is your free day to explore Bagan on your own.

Have breakfast at your hotel. Free time until driver picks up at lobby and transfer to airport for the flight to Mandalay.

Upon arrival, driver transfers you to hotel in Mandalay. Free time for the rest of the day

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Mandalay international airport for your departure flight.
