In the morning
08:00 Being picked up from your hotel by the tourguide then visit to Vietnam’s first university: the Temple of Literature. Founded in 1076, Quoc Tu Giam was established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite.
Continue with a visit to the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples. Nearby is the mausoleum of the historic father figure of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, and his modest house on stilts. (Sites are viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and from Jun - Aug)
12:00 After visiting, you will have a meal at an authentic Vietnamese Restaurant.
In the afternoon
13:00 Continue the city tour to Museum of Ethnology - a unique museum that focuses on Vietnam's 54 officially recognized ethnic groups, and is considered to be Vietnam's finest modern museum. Back to The Old Quarter to enjoy a leisurely one-hour cyclo tour through 36 streets - well-known for the history, the architecture, the enormous amount and diversity of products and even the everyday life of its residents. Visit the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple then a walking tour into the hidden alleys of Hanoi Old Quarter.
Optional: If you are not interested in Cylco you can change it to a Water Puppet Show.
16:30 Enjoy exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter before getting dropped off back at your hotel.
