Cancellation Policy
- More than 21 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

Day Trip
Full Day: Hanoi - Lan Ha Bay - Dark & Bright Cave - Frog Pond
Morning
07:45 - 08:30: Get ready and check your belongings before our shuttle bus (book in the next step with an additional fee) picks you up from various hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter. There will be a quick stop halfway to stretch your legs.
11:30 - 11:45: The bus will arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and reach the pier. The welcoming staff will be waiting for your arrival. A complimentary welcome drink will be served with a quick briefing as we set sails into Halong Bay.
Our award-winning chef will serve unique delights for guests to indulge in and pair beautifully with lavish cocktails, fine wines, and beers.
NOTE: The bar will be open for the entire service. Water is served throughout the journey. Any other drinks that aren’t mentioned will incur a charge.
Afternoon
The first activity in this wonderful journey is exploring the stunning Dark & Bright Cave by kayaking or sitting on a bamboo boat rowing by locals.
We will spend around 1-hour round trip paddling through a little grotto and into this private lagoon. Surrounded by imposing rock walls in all directions, it's a peaceful little corner for you to relax. The tour guide will tell the folklore of Halong Bay before paddling back to the boat.
Explore Dark & Bright Cave By Kayaking
Next, it’s time to enjoy the natural beauty of Frog Pond by swimming in the emerald water of Lan Ha Bay. Try the trampoline and water slide with your friends, or simply stay on the boat and chill out. So, relax and take a few moments to reflect on the beauty of this natural wonder of the world.
Return on board to join the cooking demonstration and have a try at making Vietnamese Spring rolls by yourselves.
You will have an exciting sunset ceremony afterward with complimentary Vietnamese teas, fresh fruit, and cakes. Witness the sunset dip into the horizon and fill the sky with deep red, purple, and yellow. Let's immerse ourselves in the wonderful moment while sailing back.
17:45 - 18:00: The cruise will be back to the port. If you request the transfer in advance, get picked up and return to Hanoi.
Evening
Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi at approximately 20:00 - 20:30. End your journey here.

On weekends, some roads will not allow vehicles to make room for Hanoi Walking Street. Therefore our limousine will drop you off at the closest and a suitable point in the Old Quarter instead.

We are looking at doing a day cruise on the 14th July. Two adults and our daughter who is 13. We are considering either the Jade Sails Luxury Cruise or the Halong Catamaran. We are keen to do activities and are looking for some luxury, which cruise would you recommend? Also our daughter is a fussy eater and would probably just prefer some steamed rice - could this be accommodated. Thank you

Hi! The Halong Catamaran is newer than Jade Sails and also a better choice for kids at your daughter age as it has water slider. About food, you can send your special request to our travel consultant at least 2-3 days before your trip so we can try our best to help you arrange.

Hello, I am interested your day cruise but I am not sure if and what kind of transport is included in the price for 99 USD for the 24/11/2023 for one person. On one side it is written that the price includes "Round–trip bus transfers using highway" but later on there is the following note "NOTE: The transfer service is up to your request. It's excluded from the cruise's price." So, could you please clarify this to me.
