Full-day: Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Mekong Delta
Morning
The amazing Mekong Delta adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city between 08:00 to 08:30. You will embark on a 1.5 hour drive passing through rice paddies and small villages en route to My Tho.
Upon arrival, tourists have the chance to enjoy a 3-hour boating and walking excursion in the Mekong Delta. This part of the journey allows you to freely explore the beauty and charm of the region.
Then, you board on a rowing sampan to explore the small canals of the Mekong River while admiring the stunning surroundings. Next, a journey to a scenic island with tropical orchards gives you the opportunity to witness the abundance of fruit trees that grow in the fertile delta soil.
Continuing your journey to discover the art of crafting coconut candy, a unique local delicacy. You can get to taste freshly made candy, adding a delightful culinary touch to your experience.
Moving on to explore the local village while taking a tuk tuk ride. This traditional transportation allows you to immerse yourself in the everyday life of the villagers. During the drive, you can savor the flavors of local fruits and honey tea to connect with the authentic tastes of the Mekong Delta.
Afternoon
After lunch at a riverside restaurant, you can visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most beautiful and famous landmarks in the region. Here, you can explore the pagoda's intricate architecture and learn about its cultural and historical significance.
Following your exploration in Vinh Trang, begin your journey back to Ho Chi Minh City with an estimated drop-off time of about 17:00.

Thanks to Best Price Travel and the amazing Hang Moon. throughout the trip, Moon was with us every step of the way. Her communication was outstanding, staying in touch via WhatsApp and ensuring every part of our trip ran smoothly. The itinerary was well organised and balanced, covering all the highlights of Vietnam. Every detail, from airport transfers to hotel check-ins, tours, and internal transport was perfectly timed and stress free. The 4-star hotels we stayed in were fantastic, all including buffet breakfasts that exceeded our expectations. Lunches (when included) were set menus at reputable restaurants, giving us a real taste of Vietnamese cuisine. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, polite, and gave us plenty of time to explore and enjoy at our own pace. When our overnight Halong Bay cruise was unfortunately cut short due to bad weather, Best Price Travel quickly organised a private car to return us to our hotel without any delays. A refund was processed for the activities we missed was organised by our agent Moon. This was a hassle free experience, run by honest, professional people who really care about their clients. Our guide, Back, was really knowledgeable and helpful in providing information and leading us. This was a fantastic day trip away from the city. Even though the water was rough getting to the smaller canals that day (no one could control the weather), the boat ride down the canal was serene and pleasant.
Great day trip with Hanna from start to end. Our group has 9 people but we felt well take car by our guide. The lunch should improve a bit.
