Morning

07:30 - 08:00: Our guide will meet you at your hotel. We will start our 110 km journey through the verdant landscape of the countryside to Ninh Binh on a modern bus. We will have a short break during the journey.

10:00: We will enter the glimmering Bai Dinh pagoda complex, which is the biggest pagoda in Vietnam. When you visit, you will be impressed by the antique beauty of the temple, which was established in 1136, as well as the stunning natural environment of the surrounding mountains.

You will see some of the pagoda’s highlights, including

  • 500 Buddha statues known as "La Han" (Arhats) constructed of solid green stone and artistically crafted with numerous various forms and expressions.
  • Two enormous bronze bells with Buddhist themes that weigh 27 tons and 36 tons apiece are adorned with a variety of designs and motifs.
  • Take a look at the Quan Yin statue, which features thousands of limbs and eyes.
  • See the Gautama Buddha statue, a 100-ton Buddha statue that is coated in gold.

12:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with delicious local cuisine.

Afternoon

13:30: Leave for the Trang An Grottoes, an outstanding natural beauty of majestic limestone massif at 20 square kilometers. You will embark on a traditional sampan gently rowed down the exquisite river through numerous caves and temples, such as Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, Cao Son Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, Vu Lam Temple… When sitting on the boat, you can admire the limestone mountains, and the graceful river flowing through the caves.

15:30: We will go to Mua Cave, a wonderful destination in Ninh Binh for shutterbugs and photographers thanks to its magnificent vistas from the peak above. We will begin an incredible ascent to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain. Standing at the top of Ngoa Long Mountain, you can enjoy a priceless view of nature while taking in the breathtaking rice valley.

Fantastic day tour

Tom was a fantastic guide. You witness a lot in a single day. The tour was fantastic! We knew a little Vietnamese, which was helpful while partaking in activities and mingling with the locals, so we're expecting that the guides will be able to accompany us on the activities and explain things to people who don't know the language.

Amazing landscape in northen Vietnam

Wonderful landscape! Finishing the day by Mua Cave is a better idea than starting at this place cause we can catch up in the lovely late afternoon. Trang An is incredible, as well as the big Bai Dinh temple.
