3 day Ha Long Bay experience
by Tripadvisor

We organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat.
Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her.
The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available.
The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.

I think what impressed me most was how authentic everything felt. It wasn’t polished or staged for tourists, it was just real life in the mountains. That made the experience unforgettable for me.

Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also very kind, making sure everyone felt comfortable. I really enjoyed visiting the markets, where people from all around the mountains gather in their traditional clothes. It felt like stepping into another world. Less
Very beautiful trip!!!!
Thanks you! I recommended this experience!!!! Everyone was great and so kind
I enjoyed every single day, but I think the Meo Vac Market was my favorite part. It was noisy, colorful, and full of energy. I loved seeing people in their traditional clothes and bargaining for everything from vegetables to animals. It felt so authentic.

The homestays were simple but very welcoming, and the food was always tasty. I especially liked the walk through Dong Van Ancient Town in the evening, not much was happening, but the atmosphere was nice. The trek on the third day was harder than I expected, but the view was so worth it. Overall, it was an experience I’ll remember for a long time. Less
