Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Bangkok for check-in. The remainder of the day is free to relax at the hotel or take a gentle stroll around the neighbourhood and get your first feel for the city.

Morning

After breakfast, set out to explore Bangkok’s key cultural landmarks. Begin at the Grand Palace, the former royal residence and one of the city’s most important architectural complexes. Within the grounds, visit Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), home to Thailand’s revered Emerald Buddha image.

Continue to Wat Pho, known for its impressive reclining Buddha, before visiting Wat Traimit, home to a renowned solid-gold Buddha statue.

Afternoon

Board a traditional long-tail boat for a cruise along the Chao Phraya River and nearby canals. This offers a closer look at riverside communities and everyday local life before stopping at Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), one of Bangkok’s best-known riverside landmarks.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Morning

Depart Bangkok early for Maeklong Railway Market, a unique local market built alongside an active railway line. Browse the stalls, watch the market adapt to passing trains, and enjoy some time to explore the local produce and snacks.

Continue to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Board a traditional motorboat and cruise through the canals, passing vendors selling fresh produce, snacks, and local goods directly from their boats. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the journey.

Afternoon

Return towards Bangkok and spend the afternoon at Safari World Bangkok, a family-friendly attraction featuring both the Safari Park and Marine Park. Explore the wildlife areas and enjoy selected animal shows and entertainment programmes during your visit.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out and transferring to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

The remainder of the day is free to relax at the hotel or take a short walk and begin exploring Ho Chi Minh City at your own pace.

Morning

Travel from Ho Chi Minh City to the Ho Chi Minh Agricultural Village, where you can observe small farms, see how rice and vegetables are cultivated, and learn about rural life in southern Vietnam.

Continue with a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class, preparing several traditional dishes with local ingredients. Sit down together for lunch and enjoy the dishes you have prepared.

Afternoon

After lunch, visit a local rice paper workshop and a rubber plantation to learn how these traditional and agricultural products are made.

Continue to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. Explore sections of the tunnels and surrounding wartime structures while learning about their historical role. There’s also the option to try a few activities if you’re keen (additional charge).

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Morning

After breakfast, depart Ho Chi Minh City for Cai Be and transfer to the tourist pier. Begin with a boat excursion along the waterways, with a stop at a local coconut candy workshop and a bee farm, where you can sample fresh honey tea and learn about local products.

Continue by boat to Tan Phong Island, known for its lush orchards and tropical fruit gardens. Depending on the season, sample fresh fruits grown locally before enjoying traditional folk music with local hosts.

Board a small rowing boat and travel through the island’s narrow canals surrounded by gardens and greenery. Continue to a local ecolodge for a relaxed cooking session, followed by lunch featuring regional dishes.

Afternoon

After lunch, take a short walk through the gardens or enjoy some free time to relax. Depending on local conditions, you may also have the option to cycle around the island and observe local crafts and everyday life.

Return to the pier and travel back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out and transferring to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your local driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

The remainder of the day is free to relax at the hotel or explore Hanoi at your own pace.

Morning

After breakfast, depart at around 08:00 for a half-day tour of Hanoi’s key historical and cultural landmarks. Begin at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square, an important site in Vietnam’s modern history.

Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays and undergoes annual maintenance, usually from June to August.

Continue to the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, known for its distinctive architecture built on a single stone pillar. Then visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university and an important centre of Confucian learning and traditional Vietnamese architecture.

Conclude the morning with lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Spend the day exploring Vietnam’s traditional handicraft villages, where generations of artisans have preserved local techniques through everyday craft production. Choose one of the following routes:

• Option 1: Non - Quang Phu Cau - To He Village

Head out from Hanoi to Non Chuong Village, known for its classic conical hats. Meet local artisans and see how these are carefully made by hand. Continue to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, where you’ll walk through colourful lanes filled with drying incense and learn a bit about its cultural significance.

Finish with a visit to a local To He village, where you can try shaping your own small figures from coloured rice dough - a fun, hands-on activity for both kids and adults.

• Option 2: Bat Trang - Ha Thai - To He Village

Travel to Bat Trang Ceramic Village, famous for its long-standing pottery tradition. Watch skilled craftsmen at work and have a go at making your own piece.

Next, visit Ha Thai Lacquer Village to see how lacquerware is created, from start to finish. You can also try a simple painting activity. Wrap up with a visit to a To He village for another relaxed, creative experience.

Morning

After breakfast, depart Hanoi at around 08:00 for Tuan Chau Marina, the gateway to Ha Long Bay. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours, with a short stop along the way.

Arrive at the marina in the late morning and board your cruise. After check-in, enjoy lunch onboard while cruising among Ha Long Bay’s distinctive limestone karsts and islands.

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon following the cruise programme, with activities that may include kayaking, swimming, or visiting caves, depending on the cruise itinerary. Return to the vessel later in the day and join a casual Vietnamese cooking demonstration or relax on deck while watching the sunset.

Evening

Enjoy dinner onboard before spending the evening at leisure. Depending on the cruise programme, you may try squid fishing, play games, or simply relax while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the bay.

Continue to a quieter beach area where you can swim or kayak, depending on the cruise itinerary. Enjoy some free time to take in the limestone islands and surrounding scenery at your own pace.

As the day comes to an end, relax on deck with a drink and watch the sunset over the bay.

Evening

Enjoy dinner onboard before a relaxed evening at sea. Depending on the programme, you may try squid fishing, enjoy a drink at the bar, or unwind in your cabin while taking in the views.
