Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Customer

15 days before departure: 10% of total rates
From 7 to 14 days before departure: 50% of total rates
From 3 to 6 days before departure: 75% of total rates
Under 3 days before departure: 100% of total rates

Children Policy

One (01) child under 6 years old sharing a cabin with two (02) adults is free of charge. For the second child under 6 years old, 50% of the adult rate will be applied.
For children from 6 to under 12 years old, a 50% rate will be applied for one (01) child sharing a cabin with two (02) adults.
In case two (02) children under 12 years old share one cabin, the rate is 75% of the adult price for each child.
For the third (03) adult using an extra bed/mattress, the rate is 80% of the adult price.
Children from 12 years old and above are charged as adults.

Day 1Sai Gon - Can Tho - Sa Dec

Morning

7:30 - 8:00: A driver will pick up travelers who book the transfer service from their hotel (district 1 & part of district 3) to the Gecko Eyes Cruise in Can Tho.

Passengers embark on the ship at 11:30 and check the cabins. Later, we have a delicious lunch on board while navigating to Sa Dec.

Afternoon & Evening

During your downtime aboard the Gecko Eyes, indulge in your experience. Immerse yourself in the sun lounge and enjoy the vibrant views of the Mekong River.

In the mid-afternoon, we take part in a short visit to ancient traders' villas and temples in Sa Dec. Here, visitors have the chance to witness the magnificent architecture of the pagodas for hundreds of years.

Re-embark on the ship for dinner time. You'll enjoy dinner in the dining area before unwinding for the night aboard Gecko Eye.

Day 2Sa Dec - Xeo Quyt - Can Tho

Morning

After a leisurely breakfast, our group will depart for Xeo Quyt, once a strategic northern army outpost during the Vietnam War. Now presents an ecological destination for visitors to explore mysterious forests and rugged landscapes.

Then we rejoin Gecko Eyes and transfer to Can Tho for the rest of the morning. Lunch will be served on board.

Afternoon & Evening

Take leisurely afternoon walks through a local village, deep into the vibrant rural landscapes adorned with fertile farmlands, verdant orchards, and the bustling daily routines of the locals.

Afterward, get back on the ship and enjoy your dinner, and free time in the evening on board.

Day 3Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Sai Gon

Morning

Enjoy your breakfast accompanied by a morning tea break served on board as you marvel at the stunning morning ambiance of the Mekong River.

Embark on a long sampan and sail to the lively Cai Rang floating market. In this attraction, visitors can observe the colorful array of fruits, vegetables, and local goods being traded, and feel fascinated by the vibrant market.

Get back to the cruise for lunch while transferring to Saigon around 11:00. On the way, passengers enjoy lunch (only for those booking the transfer service) with a romantic view of the Mekong River from both sides.

Upon arrival at Saigon, approximately 16:30, drop off and end your tour.

Morning

7:30 - 8:00: Pick up at your hotel in Saigon by a shuttle bus (for those who book the transfer service). We travel to where Gecko Eyes is docking.

Welcome to the voyage with our cruise crossing the Mekong River. Passengers are on board at around 11:30 to check in their cabins and amenities.

Lunch will be served while sailing along the Mekong River. We enjoy delicious food and indulge in picturesque views from both sides.

Afternoon & Evening

After lunch, while aboard the vessel, take part in a guided walking excursion to a nearby rural village, where you'll observe local households and verdant orchards amidst the picturesque surroundings.

Later, return to the boat for a refreshing drink and enjoy the sunset scenery from the upper deck. Have dinner and relax overnight on the Gecko Eyes Cruise.

Day 2Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Sa Dec

Morning

After a leisurely morning with beverage breaks on board, we continued to transfer to Cai Rang.

Join the vibrant atmosphere of the Cai Rang floating market with its bustling traders' boats filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, and local goods, immersing yourself in the lively exchanges of this iconic Mekong Delta.

Afterward, we will embark on the deck for lunch while admiring the stunning views of the Mekong River. The ship will transport to the ancient Sa Dec.

We will start an afternoon walking tour to a peaceful village, where you'll explore its adjacent fruit orchards and vast rice fields. Interact with the friendly locals and savor sampling fresh fruits like rambutan, durian, and more.

Day 3Sa Dec - Saigon

We'll have a leisurely breakfast on the boat in the morning. Let's visit Sa Dec's morning market to immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere as locals engage in lively exchanges of goods and fruits.

Then, strolling through the lush gardens of the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, a beautifully preserved residence that once hosted the legendary love story immortalized in Marguerite Duras' novel "The Lover". After that, we moved to a local pagoda, an ancient spot that has centuries of religious and cultural significance.

Around 11:00, we will travel back to Saigon and have lunch en route (for those booking the transfer service).

Arriving at Saigon approximately at 16:00. The journey comes to an end.

Loved how peaceful and personal the cruise felt

We did the Gecko Eyes private cruise from Sa Dec to Can Tho (3 days). Having a private boat meant no rushing and access to small canals you’d never see on a bigger cruise.

The cabin was simple but comfortable, with great river views. Waking up to local life along the Mekong was a highlight. Excursions were well-paced and authentic.

Meals were freshly cooked and delicious, especially enjoying dinner on deck at sunset. By the time we reached Can Tho, we felt we’d experienced the Mekong in a truly local way.

We were able to secure the cruise for an evening bay cruise and overnight followed the next day with the trip to Can Tho. There also is an upper deck sitting area for enjoying all there is to see as you float along the Mekong. Our meals were wonderfully prepared and kindly served by our hosts. The team we worked with got us to the floating market, several villages, and a great nature experience viewing an egret preserve.

We took a private boat with the Gecko Eyes team from Sai Gon to Can Tho (on the Mekong River). This one-cabin ship included a comfortable stateroom and a lovely living space for meals and viewing.

The crew on the boat were really attentive and made our stay entirely delightful. This was one of the most fun and memorable travel experiences we've had, and we strongly recommend it.
