I am considering a Calypso cruise 2 days 1 night for 2 pax on March 29th 2023. Pick up from Haiphong 29th March and drop off Hanoi 30th March. How much will it cost and can I pay at your Ho Chih Minh office on 26th or 27th March? Can I pay in Dong or must it be in US$? Thank you
You can pay in cash at our office in Saigon but should deposit first to avoid sold out all cabin. We will count by bank exchange rate at the payment time.
Excellent service and huge cabin with a private balcony. We spent two days and one night on board, with delicious food and a nice crew. Halong Bay is as magnificent as the pictures we have seen, and it is quite quiet. The two caverns we saw were both amazing. One surprise was that a water bottle cost $2 and local beer cost $6 with meals in the dining area.
Nice boat, fantastic cabin, beautifully decorated dining area, bar, and upstairs on the top deck. The trip was well-planned, and staff went out of their way to assist guests. The cruise was enjoyable and included various activities such as cave exploration, fishing village visits, kayaking, and swimming.
The boat's exterior could use some new paint and decoration; it looks old when you get on board. But once inside, it is all beautiful! The food was excellent - there was plenty to eat, and it was vegetarian/gluten friendly. I was very impressed by how beautifully decorated it was! The food was excellent - there was plenty to eat, and it was vegetarian/gluten friendly. I was very impressed by how beautifully decorated it was! The boat staff works extremely hard, from breakfast preparation to the end of karaoke at 11 p.m.! I believe they require more time off and a pay increase; they appear exhausted! You are doing an excellent job. It would have been nice to spend more time visiting the cave and beach. It was enjoyable to try rolling spring rolls, but it was a very simple task! Our tour guide was wonderful - bubbly, knowledgeable, and well-organized, as well as a lovely person! The highlight of the cruise! Many thanks! Less
The entire trip was smooth and enjoyable. The tour guide speaks English fluently. The room was clean and tidy. The food was wonderful, and there was plenty of it. All of the planned activities were carried out successfully.
The cruise should provide greater shade on the deck.
Excellent experience; I heartily recommend this cruise and this location. The food was delicious, the boat was very nice, the cabins were beautifully decorated and clean, the staff was polite, and the guide was fantastic.
