Following the delicious breakfast, we get on an adventure through the lush countryside, Andong Russei, to discover the traditional techniques of pottery and palm sugar production by mountain bikes and amazing tuk-tuks.
There will be opportunities to explore on mountain bikes or with tuk-tuks. You will pedal through the rice paddies, watching climbers summit the sky-piercing palms towering above us.
After a cooking demonstration followed by lunch, there will be additional chances to go fishing, bike through the countryside, and explore Kampong Tralach, a floating village, on skiffs.
We will cap off the day with sundowners by the riverbank and kayaking along the Tonle Sap.
- From December to February
Let's visit Phat Sandai, a remote floating village where schools, churches, and even the police station drift along the riverbank. Discover the locals’ unique way of life and their efforts to protect the area’s rich biodiversity.
For a more immersive experience, you can kayak past floating homes and beneath the shaded canopy of riverside trees.
After a cooking demonstration and lunch onboard, we head to Phnom Neang Kangrey before continuing by tuk-tuk to a local handicraft village.
Alternatively, you can choose to hike through shaded forest trails or cycle through the countryside to the Phnom Touk Meas biodiversity area.
