After exploring the UNESCO Heritage Town of Luang Prabang, we will pick you up at Avani+ Luang Prabang and transfer you to the Boheme Cruise.

Once onboard, take a moment to settle in and admire the extravagant yet classical charm of the Bohemian style that defines the cruise. Your journey begins with a visit to Ban Xang Hai, famously known as the Laotian Whisky Village.

Here, you’ll learn about the traditional process of making Lao Lao Whisky, often referred to as the “Water of Life,” and have the chance to interact with local artisans who have preserved this craft for generations.

Next, embark on a premium long-tail boat ride toward the Nam Ou Cliff, where the scenery unfolds into magnificent limestone formations and tranquil stretches of the river.

Later, enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty before continuing onward to the legendary Pak Ou Caves, one of Laos’ most revered spiritual sites, marking an inspiring start to your Mekong journey.

Afterward, we return to the cruise ship to unwind, enjoy a nice dinner, and have a good night's sleep on board.

Cruising on the mighty Mekong River

Today, we will continue your voyage downstream along the mighty Mekong River, drifting through a serene landscape of verdant jungle hills and quaint riverside villages that capture the essence of rural Laos.

Our first stop of the day is Ban Xang Khong, a charming village celebrated for its traditional Saa Paper. Here, you’ll take part in a hands-on experience making paper from tree bark, adorned with fresh flowers and leaves.

The experience is followed by a tasting of authentic tea sourced from Phongsaly, a remote village in northern Laos.

Afternoon & Evening

The cruise proceeds to the serene Ban Chan, the well-known pottery village, where you’ll have the chance to join a hands-on pottery workshop, shaping clay using age-old techniques passed down through generations.

As the day winds down, we will moor at Ban Muang Khay village, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful riverside evening atmosphere. Enjoy a tasty dinner and spend the night on board.

After having breakfast on board, we will set off to explore the stunning Kuang Si Waterfalls from Muang Khay village in a comfortable minivan.

Upon arrival, you can take time to wander around the cascading tiers and turquoise pools surrounded by the lush tropical greenery of this breathtaking landscape.

After enjoying the refreshing atmosphere, we savour a nature-immersed lunch surrounded by the soothing sounds of the Tad Keo waterfalls, a perfect moment to unwind and connect with nature.

In the afternoon, we will continue our serene cruise downstream and moor overnight at Ban Thaduea, where the gentle rhythm of the river marks the end of a peaceful day.

Get to the restaurant on board for a tasty dinner after an active day. Then you can relax, have some drinks at the bar, or simply chill out in your cabin.

Known as “The Land of a Million Elephants,” Laos takes great pride in its majestic elephants. Today, we’ll visit the Xayaboury Elephant Conservation Center, a genuine sanctuary devoted to the protection and care of these magnificent creatures.

Let's stroll through the tranquil forest paths of the center and observe how elephants are lovingly tended by their mahouts and caretakers. This will be an engaging experience for many travelers.

Afternoon & Evening

Later, our journey continues with a passage through the Xayaboury Dam, offering a fascinating look at the workings of this modern landmark as we navigate carefully through its locks, an experience that perfectly blends nature and engineering along the Mekong.

Afterward, we return to Boheme Cruise and enjoy free time on board. Overnight on the cruise.

Today, we sail gracefully down the Mekong River, passing lush jungle landscapes and charming riverside villages that line the banks of this legendary waterway.

After breakfats, we will stop for a scenic walk through the pristine Ban Niam village, giving you a closer look into the simplicity and warmth of rural life in Laos.

Afternoon & Evening

Back on board and continuing our journey to Pak Lay. You can get to the sundeck and admire the majestic view of the Mekong River as the cruise slowly pass by.

As evening falls, enjoy your final night on the Mekong, highlighted by a captivating traditional Lao dance performance, followed by a themed gourmet farewell dinner beneath the stars, a fitting finale to an unforgettable river journey.

After breakfast, we disembark at 8:30 am in Pak Lay and enjoy a comfortable coach transfer back to the historic capital of Vientiane.
