It was by chance we selected this product in a space that is well catered by other cruise lines.
Now that we understand the Mekong Delta and the extensive water ways we are so glad we selected this cruise company.
The Mekong Princess is infact one of the only vessels that plights the water ways and channels where the bigger cruise vessels cannot sail.
Because of this you get to experience the full ebb and flow of life on the Delta.
There are so many quality facets of this cruise that it's not possible to list them all, however I shall try and summarise.
Firstly, we were accommodated in the Saigon suite which was their flag ship cabin. The accomodation is absolutely fantastic and is decorated in a colonial theme as is the vessel, throughout.
The vessel common spaces including restaurants, dinning room, bar and gym are immaculately presented and homely.
The off vessel daily actives are very well managed and their guides provide you with ample information on the rich history of both Cambodia and Vietnam.
The food and wine onboard is as good as any fine dinning establishment and I can guarantee you shall leave the vessel thoroughly content and maybe a few more kilos.
The Mekong Princess crew are what makes this cruise a memorable experience. They are 100 percent attentive to their duties and by the time you leave the vessel you shall be part of their extended familly.
The onshore vessel management team play a vital role in ensuring that the vessel and crew provide a world class service and I can ensure you the operation runs like a well oiled machine.
Whilst there are other similar products available to cruise the Mekong Delta I would defiantly make sure that this tour is in your final selection list and I can vouch that you shall not be disappointed if you sail with the Mekong River Cruises. Less

Every itinerary and outing was carefully thought out and quite enjoyable. Sometimes the group had to take a long walk, but nobody found it challenging. The meals were excellent because several options were available for different types of passengers on the ship. To truly enjoy the Great Mekong River, take the Mekong Princess. Less
The journey was a memorable experience. The service, meals, and performance onboard were perfect and professional, except they don't have a pool. But the schedule and local experiences satisfied us. Thanks for this trip :D

No worries about where to sleep, where to eat how to get there. The ship is magnificent in decor, spacious Suites, one for one crew. The food is delicious with an array of offering between local, Western and fusion. Spirit, soft drink, beer, juices, coffee tea and quality wines at dinner are complementary during the trip. Cannot fault anything on this journey, the tours were informative and very différent in all aspects. The size of the ship allows it to goes where no other ships could and make us to be the only one to visit in many places with authentic, cultural, experiences with the locals. The SPA on board was a delight, the ship is filled with greasy flowers arrangement, a beautiful gift shop from local art craft at reasonable price, a gym well equipped, complementary WIFI in public rooms. Really the EPITOME of any ships I have done. Strongly recommend this way of travelling in this part of the world. Less
We had beautiful eight days on Mekong Princess Cruise. The trip was worthwhile and gave us a lot of unique feelings. The ship was lovely and comfortable, and local visits and the village we visited were exciting; I'm in love with coconut candy :D
