After breakfast, we take a 2-3 hour drive from Hanoi to Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen - once a secret base, now remembered as the heart of Vietnam's resistance during the First Indochina War. Known as ATK (An Toan Khu), this area played a crucial role in the fight for independence.

Our journey through history begins with visits to key landmarks within the ATK:

• Ho Chi Minh’s Working House - a simple stilt house where he led the resistance.
• Command Bunker - an underground shelter for strategic decisions.
• Tin Keo Hut - one of the earliest revolutionary sites.
• De Hill - a strategic lookout symbolizing resilience.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, explore the ATK Dinh Hoa Museum, home to wartime artifacts and stories. We end the day with a cultural exchange with locals, then check into our hotel in Thai Nguyen or the ATK area, surrounded by peaceful rural scenery.

After an early breakfast, we drive 4–5 hours to Cao Bang, a mountainous province in northeastern Vietnam known for its natural beauty and revolutionary history.

Our first stop is the Pac Bo Historical Complex, where Ho Chi Minh returned in 1941 after 30 years abroad to lead the anti-colonial movement. Key sites include:

• Coc Bo Cave – his shelter and command post.
• Lenin Stream – named by Ho to reflect his ideals.
• Stone Table – where he drafted documents and held meetings.

Today, the marker symbolizes Vietnam's efforts in post-war reconstruction and national connectivity.
