Ben Tre Mekong Gateway Full Day

Morning

07:00 - 7:30: We will start your journey from Saigon to Ben Tre Province with a pickup from your hotel. Along the way to Ben Tre, you can view the natural beauty of forests and the local's daily life.

Your adventure continues with a scenic cruise along the Ham Luong River. This is one of nine estuaries that characterize the Mekong Delta. The river offers a romantic setting for you to relax and take in the natural beauty.

During the cruise, tourists will have a chance to stop by a local coconut workshop. You will have the opportunity to watch the fascinating process of making elaborate traditional products and meet friendly Ben Tre people. This firsthand experience allows you to gain insights into the local craftsmanship.

A leisurely walk through a mat-weaving house awaits, where you can observe the intricate art of mat-weaving and learn more about this item that plays an important role in the spiritual life of Southern people. Additionally, you can enjoy the tasty local fruits and a refreshing cup of tea.

Next, you will hop aboard a 'xe loi' (motorized rickshaw) or bicycle to observe locals in their everyday lives and verdant fruit orchards during the journey.

Afternoon

After a delicious riverside lunch, we will set sail on a sampan boat, navigating narrow canals. While winding through magnificent landscapes, we will have the opportunity to see a variety of plant species on both sides of the canals.

My wife and I recently completed a 12-day tour of Vietnam, travelling from North to South, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Best Price Travel and the amazing Hang Moon. throughout the trip, Moon was with us every step of the way. Her communication was outstanding, staying in touch via WhatsApp and ensuring every part of our trip ran smoothly. The itinerary was well organised and balanced, covering all the highlights of Vietnam. Every detail, from airport transfers to hotel check-ins, tours, and internal transport was perfectly timed and stress free. The 4-star hotels we stayed in were fantastic, all including buffet breakfasts that exceeded our expectations. Lunches (when included) were set menus at reputable restaurants, giving us a real taste of Vietnamese cuisine. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, polite, and gave us plenty of time to explore and enjoy at our own pace. When our overnight Halong Bay cruise was unfortunately cut short due to bad weather, Best Price Travel quickly organised a private car to return us to our hotel without any delays. A refund was processed for the activities we missed was organised by our agent Moon. This was a hassle free experience, run by honest, professional people who really care about their clients.
