The Bassac Cruise - Immerse yourself in the Mekong Delta's distinct culture
The Bassac offers short-to medium-length exploration excursions on the charming Mekong. This boat was constructed and designed with an exquisite style, based on the classic look of traditional rice boats, and can comfortably seat up to 24 people.
Bassac Boat primarily provides tours (SIC available) on the Mekong Delta's most famous and crowded sections, Mang Thit and Co Chien Rivers. The cruise will take you to the most typical floating market, Cai Be market, where you can appreciate the scene, sound, and fragrance. This is a fantastic chance to immerse yourself in the distinct culture of the Mekong civilization using all of your senses.
We had a great time on the cruise and were really happy with the boat, the crew and the food. It really was excellent. T
We were really impressed with every aspect of the cruise. The boat, rooms, food and especially the crew and guide were all excellent.
Annie our guide was excellent and a credit to Bassac. She had wonderful local knowledge having been brought up in the area and her English was excellent. A very caring guide who fulfills her duties 100%. Good also that there was Vietnamese wine available which is much cheaper than imported. Very Good
Food is not great
Bassac III is also a lovely boat of a smaller size but you did not feel cramped (there were 12 on the cruise). The boat was charming and although the room is smaller due to boat size, it was very clean and functional. We even enjoyed the hand held shower.
The food was of high quality.

Staff were very professional. Annie our English-speaking guide on the Bassac was fantastic, making adjustments for our dietary needs (vegetarian) and explaining key points on our trip through the Mekong so 10/10 for Annie. Less
