Did a 3 day 2 night Sampan cruise back in 2015. Taking 14yr old grandson. Want to do 3 days 2 nights on Sampan. We went in rowboat with guide to village, had fruit and residences did a show for us. Then went somewhere else in Delta. Also visited floating market spent night on board great food. Would like to take grandson for at least one night and two full days and go to interior of delta as before. Advise
Currently we still run this program, could you please share your date so i can check available for you.
Hello, Could you let me know if you able to cruise Siem Reap to Saigon please? Thank you :)
No this sampan can not cross the border.

It was an amazing voyage that allowed us to fully experience Mekong daily life, including all of the distinctive aspects of regional markets and customs. Mr. Lan was an amazing guide for us. He allowed us to set the pace, never tried to upsell us on baubles, and told us true stories from his own life in a way that was genuinely human. Nothing was more enjoyable than having coffee in our robes and watching the sun rise while people went about their daily lives ashore. The boat's small size allows it to navigate through numerous channels near the action. We also went all out and had a great time on the private speedboat to Phnom Penh. Most effortless border crossing I have ever experienced. Less
We reserved a two-night, three-day Song Xanh Sampan private cruise on the Mekong River with BestPrice Travel from Anna. Thanks to her professionalism, everything went easily for us. The actual cruise was wonderful and comes highly recommended.

We got to our Song Xanh Sampan 2.5 hours later. Thanh, our amazing tour guide, greeted us. He spoke excellent English and spent the next two and a half days explaining Vietnamese culture and living in the Mekong Delta to us. We were surprised to find two lovely bedrooms with comfy mattresses, two bathrooms, mosquito netting, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The traditional sampan architecture was wonderful, and we also got a living room space where we could see the river's activities.
Thanh accompanied us on several outings. We rode bikes in the countryside, went to a temple, sampled sweets at a candy factory, saw hardworking people make ceramic pots, learned about a political leader, went to the market in Sa Dec, and traveled in a tiny boat on one of the numerous tributary canals.
We got a genuine sense of life along the river as we saw rice sacks being loaded and unloaded, floated by the floating market, and the numerous residences that surround the river.
Our cook, Phong, prepared exquisite meals for us. The next morning's breakfast buffet was amazing.
This is the tour for you if you want to treat yourself to a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We were only two persons, although the sampan could hold four. It is a memory I will cherish. Less

Thank you: Rosie (our BestPrice Travel agent), Xuyên (our tour guide and invaluable “fixer”), Toàn (our captain), and Phát (our talented cook).
My partner and I took the 2 night/3 day cruise from Cai Be to Chau Doc. We utilised the easy hotel transfer from HCMC to Cai Be.
Rosie was WONDERFUL in the lead up to our cruise, making arrangements and accomodating our requests via WhatsApp.
