After breakfast, begin your gentle walk downhill from the retreat into a lush valley of cascading rice terraces - a scene straight out of a postcard. Follow narrow trails shaded by greenery until the charming Uoi Village slowly comes into view, nestled peacefully at the foot of towering limestone mountains.

Take a moment to pause and capture the stunning panorama of the village from above - this is one of the most photogenic spots in the reserve. Continue your walk downhill to a local home, where you’ll rest and recharge before a scenic cycling journey.

Hop on your bicycle and ride through the serene countryside toward Lan Village. Pedal past vibrant rice paddies, wooden stilt houses, and gentle streams that crisscross the valley. If time allows, stop by a local home to learn about traditional brocade weaving, an age-old craft passed down through generations (not guaranteed).

Continue cycling from village to village, crossing rustic bridges and soaking up the beauty of the rural landscapes, until you reach Hieu Village - one of Pu Luong’s most picturesque spots. Here, you can relax and take a refreshing dip at the Hieu Waterfall, the only one in the reserve, before enjoying a home-cooked lunch at a local house.

As the day winds down, return to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner and a peaceful evening surrounded by the soothing sounds of the mountains and rice fields.

From here, descend into one of the most stunning valleys in Pu Luong, surrounded by sweeping rice terraces and misty mountains.
