At 07:30, our guide pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi, where you will be welcomed for an exciting adventure to Ba Be National Park. The scenic 5-hour drive takes you through the picturesque countryside of Northern Vietnam, with lush rice fields, traditional villages, and limestone mountains dotting the landscape.

Along the way, enjoy a lunch break to energize you for the day ahead.

Afternoon

Upon arrival at Boc Lom Pier, you'll learn how to paddle a kayak and take essential equipment. Then travel down to the tranquil Nang River, exploring the stunning Puong Cave with its impressive stalactites and bat colonies by boat and kayaking.

You can head back to Ba Be Lake by motorboat, where its tranquil emerald waters invite you for a refreshing swim amidst the pristine surroundings (swimming available). This natural haven, one of Vietnam's largest freshwater lakes, offers a sense of serenity that's perfect for unwinding after an active day.

In the evening, arrive at Mr. Linh's Ba Be - Jungle Lake House, you’ll be treated to a delightful BBQ dinner, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Share stories of your day’s adventures as you dine under the stars in this peaceful setting.

From 07:00 - 07:30, start your adventure with a convenient pick-up at your homestay, followed by a quick briefing to prepare for the exciting day ahead. A 30-minute drive through the scenic landscapes of Ba Be National Park will take you to the starting point of your trek to Tham Phay Cave, one of the park's hidden gems.

Your hike begins with a steep uphill trail winding through lush forests, where you'll encounter unique flora and the sounds of local wildlife. The terrain gradually becomes more rugged with rocky paths, you will be guided by an experienced local who will ensure your safety while sharing fascinating insights about the area.

Upon reaching the cave entrance, enjoy some snacks before starting the exploration. As you venture inside, you'll be greeted by dramatic stalagmites and stalactites, with intricate rock formations that have been shaped over millions of years. Your guide will highlight the cave's geological features and history, enriching your experience as you navigate its maze-like passages.

During the approximately 5-hour exploration, take breaks to enjoy snacks and water, keeping your energy levels up for the journey. You will continue to explore the 2nd path of the cave system, with dangerous sinkholes and heat flow at the bottom.

Around 07:30, you begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your homestay, preparing for the final adventure in Ba Be National Park. From Bo Lu Village, your guide will lead you on a scenic trek through the park's lush jungle. As you wander through this vibrant ecosystem, marvel at the diverse flora and fauna, from towering ancient trees to colorful bird species filling the air with their calls.

Reaching Tham Khit pathways to an ancient cave, adventurers can have a stroll around the lake to the panoramic views of the ranger station's animal observation huts.

The hike will continue for about 2 km until arriving at the historic An Ma Temple, a sacred Tay cultural site located on a tranquil island. Take time to explore its peaceful grounds, soak in its spiritual ambiance, and listen to fascinating stories about the temple's significance.
